Sound
Good course for that price. Bit slow on the back nine because of a few groups of seniors but sound for a Tuesday round.
Good course for the proce
Course in good condition, fairly slow pace of play behind some questionable golfers. A few locals wandering round with dogs away from the rights of way. Enjoyable round in the sun.
5☆
The course was brilliant from tee to green. The staff where very helpful, we would highly recommend
It's Okay for the price!
Played here for first time today. Price was really good for a two ball think it worked out £12 each so can't complain with that for a full 18 holer.
First impressions were good until getting half way down first hole. Slightly confused at first to see so many people walking through holes with golf ball catchers and the volume of dog walkers, which I thought was a bit inconsiderate but hey ho!
The course itself is in really good nick. Can tell it's looked after from the tee off box to the fair way to the green. Most holes are tight challenging your accuracy and the greens ran true and were in good condition. Each hole presented a fair challenge to whatever standard of golf you play. Just needs to be directed better from hole to hole was a one of the flaws. And the biggest being so many randomers walking through holes whilst playing. I have never experienced seeing people trying to find lost balls whilst it's the middle of the day and so many golfers still out and about. Should that be allowed? Haha wouldn't mind so much if it were kids but adults? come on people! Get a life!
Brilliant value
Course was in great condition and for £10 a round it was brilliant value for money. Well worth a visit. Will be back again
Great Value.
Well worth £10. Well looked after course. Little wet in places on the fairways as expected for this time of year but greens were excellent. Fairways nice and wide and very flat. Perfect for a newbie.
Only negative is there’s lots of dog walkers.
I’ll definitely make this a regular visit.
Excellent value for money
£10 to play the course. The fairways were boggy and soft but that’s due to the amount of rain we have had. Balls were plugging but apart from that the course was great. Could do with more signs up pointing in the right direction.
a wet boggy mess
we came on a damp and dreary Thursday morning. It had been raining the night before but not too heavy so we thought we’d give it a go as it’s our first time. the car park was wet and there is no direction to the first tee box (we looked and ended up on the 18th fairway and walked to the 1st). What can I say, bring your wellies. your ball will plug every other shot and the water will run over your shoes I’m a size 12 and that’s saying something. didn’t see a greenskeeper all day and the fairways are lined with seasonal trees meaning all drainage is blocked up by leaves that look like they’ve been sat there since last year also. the best part we’re the greens, still wet but on a dry day can imagine they are playable. not worth the £12 I would suggest taking your money else where. the amount of mud and water was just like I was playing golf in the swamps of the port.
Avoid with all costs, much better courses available. More money needed for drainage and upkeep as it’s in a dire state. All bunkers are GUR. Grass shooting through like knights grange and that’s been shut for 4 years.
it’s a crime scene.
Golf day
Played here for the first time in ages and it was great really enjoyed it thanks
Great little course.
First time playing this course and found it very good. Fairways and greens where excellent. Will definitely be playing this course again.
Challenging course
Plays longer than described good tee shots required to make second shots a lot easier he green's are a little patchy but roll true
Fantastic course
Very friendly staff and the course was in great shape. Would definitely come again
Great value
What can anyone complain about for £13 on a Sunday? We had a decent day. Course was pretty good. Greens were decent. Staff are always friendly. We will be back
Lovely staff and course
Had a great time here. Was really heavy weather but we still made the most of it. £10 for 18 holes and £15 per buggy. This is the cheapest I have come across yet
