What can I say the coarse is in outstanding condition booked threw GOLFNOW APP.. Great tee time prices on there the greens where as smooth as snooker table... Mint condition can't wait to go bk with the lads ⛳
Loved it captain was a bit off with us but enjoyed course can’t wait to get back
Booked on through golfpass for a Sunday £30 late afternoon tee with a friend who lives local.the pro didn't mention that every tee was a winter tee which were in very poor condition or a matt! Par 4 were now par3 and completely ruined the round as the real tees could have been played as there was nothing wrong with them.to drive 50minutes I wasn't impressed! Plus my friend had turned up week before to find out that 18 temp greens were on which is unbelievable! Never heard a course do that! Would never play there again.very disappointed to say we're in April and the course is charging that money and god help any1 playing there in winter!
Good course taking weather and maintenance into consideration..will be back in summer good value for money
Nice course!Love it !
The greens were brilliant
All 18 greens on and in great condition. Winter tees in play as to be expected for this time of year. We really enjoyed and will be back
Friendly Welcome
Really enjoyable round of golf. The recent weather conditions (rain rain rain) have had an impact on the condition of the golf course as expected but it played really well considering. The course is having some work done on a couple of greens which looked immaculate, can’t wait to play there again next season.
Good Course. Slow play
Played this course 3 times recently, twice I've been held up by slow play by golf societies. I normally take 3hrs....but I was 3.5hrs and then nearly 4hrs the second time.
The 3rd hole is now closed as there are drainage works ongoing. I really like the course, fairways still in good condition and greens are in excellent condition, just a bit slow due to the rain at this time of year.
Great value for money this time of year though.
Great course
Great course. Some quite challenging holes.
Ground in great condition.
Even better if there was a pot stop half way round in the hot weather
Staff very friendly
Very friendly staff. Course was disappointing.
Me and my wife played the course for the first time and were both disappointed with the condition. It was described as ‘immaculate’ by the member of staff on arrival and this, arguably, set expectations quite high, but we found the condition to be relatively poor compared to other local courses of similar calibre. The prolonged hot and dry weather was definitely a factor in poor grass growth but there were many patchy/scruffy areas and the tee-boxes were particularly beat up. It was also quite frustrating to find our balls had come to rest in sunken depressions of old drainage channel work in the middle of fairways. Sadly, the number of interesting holes is well outnumbered by less inspiring ones. We had higher hopes for this course - especially for £40.
Dry
A few dry days in the lead up granted, but hitting shots from 80 yards out bounced off greens like concrete. They rolled well and fast but we’re too hard. Not 1 pitch mark from the round
Excellent golf course
Very testing golf course in great condition very testing greens
