Great value coure.
First time visit here and will definitely come back, great practice area just before the first tee one for chipping/pitching and a nice putting green, the coures is long with a few blind tee shots fairways and greens in great condition nothing to moan about and for the green fee I paid it was a bargain.
Lovely course
Second time I’ve played this course in very good condition. Just don’t put ball in rough because you’ll lose it
Good course , in great cotton and good value for money
Was a bit concerned going after watching flyover but this course is lovely and challenging in its own way , will definitely be going again .
Ignorant golfers
We waited on every hole for the two ball of men in front us but they wouldn’t let us through, they see a woman on the course and there’s no way were they going to.
I’m sure they told the green staff to hold us up on two holes while he cut the greens!!
The greens were a bit iffy and a lot of bare patches all around the course, for the price it wasn’t so bad.
5 star for the staff in the pro shop, not for green staff.
Huge potential
This is a lovely little course, it just needs a little TLC, the bunkers are in terrible condition and if you are off the fairway then you are in big trouble, the grass needs a cut and the greens could do with some where however I stick by my initial assessment as all if these things would only make it even better.
Kilton GC is a challenging course
Kilton GC is a challenging course, great value and well worth a visit. The rough is brutal, hit it straight or take plenty of balls..The bunkers could do with a bit of TLC. But saying that, after all the rain the course was excellent.
Shame we picked the day when they holed the greens.
Great day out?
Excellent as always
Kilton always has friendly staff that make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive
The course is a good test but always fair
Happy Golfer
This course has real potential, the bunkers need attention and the rough is overgrown, as long as you stay away from these two hazards then you're OK, greens could do with a drink of water.
Great condition
Great condition very nice breakfast, fantastic day
Great Value
Great value for money, lots of dog walkers but no issues for us. Mature, well layed out and in great nick. Not a premium track but for 17.50 easily one of the best per pound
Kilton Hot Deal
Nice to play on a course with all greens and tees open.
Cheap
First time playing here.
Bunkers terrible, weeds and not much sand.
Fairways where ok and greens could be better but iam sure they will get better as this year goes on.
It was cheap to play and I can understand why.
Great condition
This is a council operated course which is very underated in these parts. Most courses are wet and on temps. Kilton is on sandy soil and drains incredibly well. Yesterday the fairways were dry and firm and the greens a bit bobbly but ok. For the price of £15 on a Saturday (Hot Deal) it was amazing value.
Dry at last!
So nice to play on proper fairways and greens without paddling in mud!!
Kilton’s sandy soil manages to defeat the relentless rain of the last few months to provide a very good value walk round.
Played two days on the trot and although the quality of the golf was questionable it was certainly a treat to have dry feet at the end.
Fair course, with some TLC could be neatened up, dog walkers make for numerous hazards in addition to the many unraked bunkers. Some long par 4s and all a bit head-on but I like this course and for £15 right now it’s worth the hour drive.
