Golfer Reviews
Nice track, enjoyable and challenging
Really enjoyed the course,
Nice range for a warm up, good course and condition. Would highly recommend and will play again.
Not massively long but some nice holes that require different clubs off the tee
Slooooooooow play
What a shame, a lovely link style course, with really punishing rough. A real test in the wind.
Unfortunately after a massive 4 1/2 hours. We had only played 14 holes and gave up. With up to 10 min wait in every hole. We left frustrated and disappointed.
Seen it better
Played here a lot and seen it better. The tees were shocking very uneven. Greens okay but have played 5 different courses in last 10 days and these were the worst.
Kilworth Springs
Facilities really good with driving range in close proximity to the first tee. Course was in real poor condition with the greens in really poor shape and not a good surface, fairways very sparse of grass and very hard, this isn’t an issue for lower handicap golfers and I quite liked it but higher handicap golfers will struggle. £28 for a visitor is also a little steep as you can play in the local area for around the same price or cheaper considering the conditions of the course.
Nice parkland course
Nice course wide fairways on the front nine, tough looks benign but is hard to play from. Back nine very interesting, good use of the lakes on the coutse..
Interesting course in reasonably good condition
Tees ok but looking a little tired. Fairways in great condition but rough was unnecessarily harsh. Even a few yards off the fairway very difficult to find your ball. Greens ok but little bumpy in places. Pace of play was ok. We (4 ball) held up though by slow 3 ball in front we.
Would definitely play again. Challenging especially when the wind gets up
Nice Course
Everything good about the course, the course condition, the facilities, the attitude of the staff. Set in beautiful countryside you will enjoy a round of golf here. I would be very happy to play this course again or recommend to a friend.
Excellent course
A very enjoyable experience.
Course is great, the only negative would be that the greens have recently been spiked but other than that we couldn't fault it.
Shame no Marshall
Thought in general a lovely course, shame the game play was so slow, there were at times 3 groups waiting on a T, no Marshall going around hurrying up slow play like other courses I’ve visited. Course and club very nice. Great staff, great facilities., would play there again
BernRB
Kilworth Springs is a good test of golf even for the social golfer like me.
At just over 6200yds from yellow tee’s it provides a good mix of par 5s 4s and 3s.
Still haven’t got on the 18th par 3s green in one.
Pro shop and bar area staff are friendly and provide a relaxing atmosphere.
Thoroughly recommend it.
Great winter course
We played after a long period of heavy rain, our golf course was closed. The course relies on rough albeit short at time of playing, bunkers (Although lots of stones in them), fast undulating large fast greens.. The course is not particularly hard, but was very windy, as located in a exposed area.. I would play again especially in the winter, the course would me much shorter in the summer.
Windy Kilworth
Blowing a gale, home course closed and considering the rain we have had Kilworth was in remarkably good condition and relatively dry. Greens had been spiked and a little bumpy but that’s a very minor grumble as they were still very good for time of year. Recent upgrade to the driving range with new mats and tarckman was also a pleasant surprise since last visit. Good course, playable throughout the year and would recommend
