Friends
Great course
It’s was very well
Maintain
Long course
Very challenging
Everything is ok.
Everything is an ok standard but could be really good with time and work.
Could be good
Course really firm and with a bit more love could be really nice.
Only course open due to current storms
We had a great round on a course that is playable all year round. Despite three weeks of rain and storms the course was in great condition.
Whatever the weather
Despite most courses in the county being either closed or very boggy due to the very wet recent weather, Kilworth Springs was in excellent condition. For the most part, fairways are generous and greens in good order. Due to these advantages the course is very busy in the winter and would not recommend playing a 2 ball as most games are 4 balls, with pace of play appropriate to that.
Splendid day
Had a brilliant day the course is very well looked after
Beautiful, one of the best in Leicestershire
First time visit to Kilworth springs for me and what a beautiful course, lush and green throughout and very well maintained. Lovely mix of holes, some more challenging than others, the 12th across the water is an instagram moment in itself. Very impressed as you can tell and going back on Friday with my son in law. The Warwickshire is my yardstick for great courses in the midlands and this comes close. Fantastic value at £20 for a round as well.
A brilliant day
Well worth the money good value and friendly service
Lovely challenge
This course is not great to play if you have a meltdown as it can be very challenging. Lovely course conditions. Fairly quiet twilight.
Great course for its price (£22)
Very nice course which no two holes are too similar, long and short par 3s, uphill, downhill and slight dog legs. Hazards placed strategically making you think off the tee. Water comes into it on the back nine with some picturesque tee shots over it. Lots of bumps and hills to challenge and use. Greens were in great condition and ran very true. Lovely driving range and putting green to warm up on.
Great course, always windy there which gives a good challenge. Looking forward to a few more rounds this year.
Greens need attention
Great price and friendly and welcoming staff as always but the greens were as hard as granite with a terrible roll due to the giant drainage holes all over them. Rest of the course was in good shape but putting was a waste of time.
Great 18 holes
The course is an interesting 18 holes of golf.
Nice layout great views and always in a playable condition no matter the time of year.
Dont play till greens sorted
Nice course, challenging holes.
we all appreciate that greens need maintenance but they are currently in a dreadful state with the ball bobbling and jumping all over the shop.
green fees should be less to take into account.
will try again in summer when hopefully they are better but would stay away for now
value for money green fee
course in good condition and greens were in fairly good condition also. pity the pace of play was slow as soon as we caught up with the group in front and they were always waiting on each tee after 3rd hole.
Bar prices make up for the cheapest option on green fees. Make sure you have enough money.
Great course
Its a very nice course can be played in the winter months as well as summer ,well worth a visit
Wet Windy but great fun
Started off in the sun with a great friendly guy as starter. Having been made extremely welcome in the club house and bar. The sun disappeared and the rain and wind came down for 6 holes. The course coped well with the rain better than we did. But overall had a good day.
