Bunkers looked good fortunately I managed to keep out of them.

Played here for the first time in 4 years.

Can't believe the condition of the course. All fairway bunkers are GUR. Bare lies all over the fairways. Greens are 4/10 at best. The fact they charge £28 per round to play this is a joke. Only good thing about it was the course was empty . Maybe if they charged less to attract more people they might generate enough money to spend some on the course. Shame as it used to be a lot better.

Course was in great condition but not many people playing

Even given the recent poor weather, the course was in a poor condition. The rough was a foot thick in parts and the fairways more like first cut. The chance of finding your ball in the rough was about 50/50, even if only just off the fairway. It might have helped if the cut grass had not just been left lying around. The greens were slow but playable. It took 5 hours to play 18 as a two ball! The layout is hilly, and some may need to use a buggy.

Hopefully, at least 2 more cuts will improve things over the next fortnight. The course has some interesting holes and could be worth a visit in the summer.

Very poor fairways so much grass but mowers couldn’t go out because of the wetness of ground

We have enjoyed playing little lakes before very challenging. When we turned up on the 12/04/2024 for our tee time it was ominously quiet we soon realised why . The course should not have been open the fairways had not been cut it was unplayable we had to abort after 4 holes . Who is at fault the golf course or golf now I paid sixty nine pounds for a three ball. I would imagine neither of you as you now have my money..

Upon arriving for our tee time we noticed how quite it was . We soon realised why the course had not been maintained probably because of the weather . We had to give up after the first 4 holes we couldn't find our balls the grass was that long . I paid sixty nine pounds for a three ball through golf now an absolute disgrace.

At a bargain price of £15 each I wasn’t expecting a lot . Course was down to 9 holes to protect it with all the recent rain . Played some really interesting, testing holes greens where in great shape . Will definitely be back . Staff where friendly and helpful.

Although it was good to get out and have a round, I feel that the course was not in a great condition. Some of the fairways were so long in terms of length of the grass, that it took time to find your ball.

I like the variety of the holes and I don't think there are two similar holes which is great.

For the cost of the course not very good . The fairways were like being in the first cut . The first cut did not exist. The greens were ok ? I like the lay out very interesting . The course is not long and quite hilly . If the course doesn’t drain well it needs sorting . The pace of play was absolutely ridiculous waiting on virtually every tee . There was a 4 ball slowing literally everyone down with no intention at all of letting anyone through . By the time we got to the 12th hole we had given up it ruined the day we were glad to get done . That was also the situation with the group in front of us . Will not be rushing back here .

For £17 hot deal can’t complain but wouldn’t be back, course in need of a cut and some love, greens the only thing being cared for … tee boxes fairway and 1st cut all pretty much the same length some nice viewing holes but the golf aspect isn’t great

Unbelievable course if you enjoy a good view, there are hills everywhere so get a buggy if you can. Staff were friendly and the place was actually cheaper than my local for food and drinks after

This course requires some course management and the ability to claim hills. It has a lovely layout and so great looking holes. The greens were slow.
