Marton Meadows Golf Course

I enjoy playing at Marton Meadows as it’s a fairly small course so can be played fairly quickly in an evening. It has some good challenging holes, and you can play 9 or 18 holes

Lovely little course to suit building up confidence in a beginner.

The friendliest of staff, very welcoming and always helpful. Great course that is only improving as the weather gets better - looking forward to the new club house opening.

Good food, and very good prices. Personally I’d like food served on plates, but the boxes arnt the end of the world.

Good for beginners and fun for average golfers like me as it’s possible to post a pretty good score. Staff very friendly. Pretty busy on a sunny Saturday morning so a little slow going round. Enjoyable.

I always find myself coming back to this course. It's a great little 9 hole golf course which is always looking to improve facilities and give members and visitors the best experience possible.

As I arrived we had really bad rain for 20 or 30 mins but once the rain stopped the course and greens quickly dried out and we managed to play 18 holes hassle free.

I've played at some much bigger courses with bigger green fees that wouldn't have coped with such rain.

The new clubhouse is built with just the interior to finish now and I believe there is plans to expand the course.

When I took up golf 18months ago this was one of the first courses I had the confidence in playing which longer term helped my game no end because it challenges your short game.

There are new players and members on the course as you go round and everyone is supportive and friendly.

I even travel 30mins to play here

We were advised by a local PGA professional that Marton Meadows was the perfect course for new players, as it currently has 8 par 3's and a par 4 to finish. The day prior to our round we called in at the club to have a look around and get a feel for the facilities.

We met one of the managers, the bar/admin staff and the professional, everybody was lovely and very welcoming which clearly helped to put my partner at ease in preparation for our game the next day.

The course did not disappoint at all, we were round the full 18 in about 3 hours and my partner said she really enjoyed it. Although the weather in the run up to our round had been very wet the course held up pretty well. The layout kept me interested and the greens were in reasonable condition for this time of year and relatively quick and even paced across the whole course.

We sat outside in the sunshine and had a drink before we left. We have a great time overall and will be playing there again soon. Thanks to all the staff for the lovely welcome.

I love it at Marton. There is no pressure, it's a beautiful course and everybody is so friendly. You're to feel welcome as soon as you enter any building.

Enjoyed my visit here, definitely go again.

Fantastic little course, I’m a beginner and it suits me a lot better than some of the bigger courses, staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Course is immaculate staff are amazing. Never have any complaints! That's why it's my go to course!
