Very enjoyable
Excellent course layout, had plenty of time to play the holes, amazing day out definitely go again.
Not up to usual standard
A couple of days of downpour after hot weather meant the fairways were a little patchy. No information boards for early start. It’s a really challenging course and will be back but will avoid early mornings where possible and get cheaper later tee times.
I won’t drive past again!
The Cambridgeshire is a course I have driven past on the A1/A14 so many times and dismissed it based on location and being in the same complex as a not very highly rated hotel.
Having moved into the area and looking for a new course I asked a friend who recommended it, at the time I did not put two and two together So when I arrived at the course, I was expecting the worst.
How wrong could I be, the course was superb a great layout, fantastic greens and you paid the price if you wandered far from the fairway, a proper test and I enjoyed every minute.
There were not many facilities available off the course but the staff were great very helpful and friendly.
I will definitely be back in the very near future.
Far too windy to be fun.
Would have been a great afternoon but for the ridiculously high winds. Nothing the course owners could do anything about. Regardless the course was in great shape which is a tribute to the green keeping staff. Looking forward to a return on a calmer day.
Boring and unmemorable
The course was in average condition, however the greens were rolling well.
Overall, apart from the dogleg 17th this is a very bland course.
In great shape
We have played this course a couple of times. It’s very well maintained. Greens are in great condition. There is a real variety to the holes and layout is well thought out. Given the Covid restrictions most of the off course facilities are inaccessible. On site pro Mike is worth having a lesson with. All in all we enjoyed our round. Will return.
Great day out
A very warm friendly welcome from the pro on arrival. A lovely tree lined course in very good condition. The Greens were fast and true and in great condition considering the hot, dry weather of the summer. Great Value for money, a must visit course.
A good day out. Difficult to rate the off course amenities because everything was closed because of COVID. I’d just make it clear that there are no toilet facilities at the clubhouse at present.
Great greens
Course is in great condition, green ran true and quick. Need to take your medicine if wayward. Great day, shall return
Nice course, well maintained
Some challenging holes but overall, a very forgiving course that allows you to be a little wayward in places but equally rewards brave golfers who attack the course and go for the big shots!

Enjoyed my time at this course
+ Place of play
+ Well kept greens
+ Price
+ makes you think about your shots theres a ditch running throughout the course
- No signs for the holes bit of guess work / asking members
- noise of the A14 but that can't be helped just be aware if you like peace and quiet the 1st 5 holes aren't for you
- bloke in the club shop looked like he couldn't be bothered we arrived early and was informed the bookings were full so stick to are time no problem with that however there was a 25 minute gap so at most other courses I've been to common sense is used.
Very fair course
First time playing here. The course is in really nice condition. Not a tremendously challenging course with few hazards but the bunkers and rough are well placed to punish poor shots. The greens are in good condition. I really enjoyed this course and will be back to lay it again soon!
