Course is looking good, fairways and green's were in great condition.

No negative remarks on the course and team at all!

Only issue is they are not affiliated to England Golf so you can't log your scores.

But I will play again!

For £30 it’s very expensive for what you get. The course is not well kept and no dress code is enforced

Staff in reception friendly and welcoming, pro shop closed at moment, very basic available, course played well, green rolled true, very well kept, would recommend anyone playing here.

Used to be a member many years ago returned for a casual 18 holes excellent long course that has now good management behind them again ! A special thank you to the pro Adrian who has visions going forward. Worth a visit to play 18 holes for under £25

Course itself is ok but the rest of the club is in a terrible state - only open till October time then closed for a 2-3 year refurbishment apparently

Course has the potential to be a very good one, just let down by the condition slightly, couple of greens not great, also in general just looks a little unkept & understaffed, this is relevant to the price though , would play again.

I chose the course due to the time slot and used the golf now discount for hot deals so wasn't expecting much for less than £20, I have played on a lot worse courses for a lot more money, The course wasn't bad, it was interesting and no holes were the same, the greens were tough with the undulations but the bunkers could have done with some sand (and lest water in the lakes so I could have got my balls back :) ), There are plenty of hazards and lay ups that make you think about the hole instead of blasting the ball. The pace of play was a little slow with 50 yard hackers in front of us but they stopped at the halfway house and we played through and clear from then till the 18th. the staff were very friendly and helpful and made us feel like we were members. Good value and good (not great) course

Played course a few years ago and didn’t play my best on a then nice looking course. Thought I would go back and stop on the way home from a golf break, only to be left disappointed with how the course have deteriorated. Anyone can get on it, even those that do not know/understand about letting quicker players through. Ended up walking of after 15 holes as it was backed up on the 16th with 3 groups waiting on the tee. I won’t be returning in a hurry. It’s a shame as it could be a very nice course with the right TLC.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall track and conditions of the fairways and greens.

For the price I don't think you'll find a better track in Surrey right now. Lots of v good looking holes, especially on the back 9. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed. Booking my next tee very soon!

Merrist Wood is a great course, we booked again for this Sunday. Holes are varied and some of the greens are extremely challenging but fun and true.

Some of the bunkers let it down as they needed work done to them but apart from that, I cant really fault it. Especially for £30 on a Sunday morning and a 4 hour round.

Really nice course, definitely tricky good condition all round other then poor bunkers, for having so meny of them aswell.

A challenging course that plays very long, but in great condition. Tee off timings weren’t controlled very well which resulted in two groups playing right up behind us. Apart from this a really enjoyable course and day

Played this course last time when it was private and I'm amazed the course is still looking and playing well. These courses usually go down hill when becoming pay and play. Would highly recommend this track. You won't get better for the price locally. It's better than pine ridge and cheaper and alot less busy.

Very nice course. Lots of bunkers around the greens which makes it quite challenging but also very interesting. The course was quiet when I played so no issues with regards the pace of play. One or two of the greens could do with a bit of work but overall excellent value for money. Will play again.
