Merrist Wood Golf Club

Played this course during storm Rosie! And still thought this was a good challenging course. The back 9 makes you think about shots off the tee and has some wonderful approach tests with tough greens. Greens were in good condition and ran true, fairways were muddy but it was February!

Been here many times. Not in great condition at moment very muddy in places although greens weren't too bad. Very good course in Warmer months.

Course in very good condition considering the weather. A bit muddy here and there but nothing which should affect your scoring. Greens very good and quick. Surprisingly few people playing which made it less rushed and more enjoyable.

My third time playing this course. Great days golf considering the wet weather we have had lately. Weather was cold but dry for our round. The course was in very good nick. Greens were slow but that's to be expected at this time of year. This is a very challenging course for any level of player and a bit of thought is needed on some holes. Club house is nice and staff were friendly.

Played 26th December so have to expect course to be wet but front 9 was just to muddy,greens very soft and bumpy

Back 9 were much better and drier,will definitely come back and play in the summer

Well worth the money on teeofftimes

An a not too cold nor hot day, bit of rain here and there but still playable. Quite a lot of worm cast (season), got a buggy thanks to a great friendly staff; round in less than 3 hours. Course was in good shape, especially it rain a lot during the past few days. I guess winter play isn't very fun there as there is a lot's of water in play (lake, features ...) Course layout is awesome, with lot's of challenging par 4 and 3. everyone should try this place once. I really enjoyed it.

Some lovely holes with many different features and challenges. Good length off the whites for this time of year. Tee boxes pretty good. Greens great. Well worth the money

course is a great challenge , greens are excellent very undulating , only moan is the course looks a bit scruffy in parts

My second time playing here and what a gem. I've play all over Surrey and this course is one of the best. Very few weak holes and lovely par 3s. The course is normally in good condition and no exception this time. Few more visible yard markers would be the icing. Challenging greens if you're not on the 'right' side
