Course is looking good apart from the bunkers in terrible conditions no sand just clay spoils a great course

Nice municipal course, well laid out. Well maintained in most places. Pace of play could be improved by not having tee times 8 minutes apart.

First time playing here, it was well maintained, really good lay out with a few thought provoking holes. A good challenge, definitely recommend this course to anyone.

Lovely course in great condition with some tricky holes .

I played here as a late booking. The course is in great condition, lovely day, bit windy made it more challenging. The thing that let this review down is the 2 gentlemen in front of me from the 5th hole to the 18th wouldn't let me play through and they ended up backing up another 2 single players and two 2ball players.

The course was in great condition considering the time of year and the weather we’ve had. The driving range facilities are great and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Middlesbrough Municipal golf course us one of the best course in the area for a few reasons

1 Very well kept greens and fairways

2 Right amount of obstacles, ( water, sand dunes) etc

3 No snooty staff, all down to earth and very helpful

4 Good pro shop and helpful staff.

5 Good mix of long and short holes

Will definitely keep playing there

Course in probably the best condition I can remember. Greens are medium pace but true. Tees are ok , could do with some work. Fairways are fine. Always room for improvement but a good test of golf, and good value for money. Putting and chipping green also very decent. New bar area and tee booking, are very good.

The new bar area is very nice,, modern and wwll equiped with TV located around the bar. The course is in great condition, greens are fantastic and for £21 a really good deal and VFM.

We played Teesside a couple of weeks back and I must admit that The Muni was a better course, experience and much better condition.

Only issue is the pitch marks on the greens by other golfers (should be getting repaired) but overall, a fantastic course!

The staff were very welcoming when booking in but my group walked off after 5 holes as it took us 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete them 5 holes. The groups in front were all in buggy’s drinking alcohol and listening to load music. One person in the group in front took 10 shots on and wasn’t even on the green on a par 4. I had to drive an 80 mile round trip to get there too.
