Great condition and staff as always friendly and pleasant .

First time I have played at this course. Fairways in great condition and greens ran true and fast. Very unusual layout but very enjoyable.

A fun course with some real quirky features. The greens were so soft, it was like throwing darts into them, but they rolled so prue and fast when putting on them. Holes 2-11 are the real gems on this course, with hols 1 and then 12-18 played on common land (look out for the odd person and numerous cars) but this personally didn't detrack from my experience. Would recommend as a definitely play it once. I know I will go back again.

Arranged to play with 2 friends Having booked through GolfNow on;y to be told when checking in that GolfNow had sold the final place to a stranger. He was a good chap but given these COVID 19 times I wouldn’t have expected this to happen given he was a stranger to us. We had no prior notice that he’d be playing with us.

That said we had a good time, despite the guy having a mare of a round which we all felt for him as we’ve all been there! The course is split into 2 parts a new fairly open 9 (holes 2 to 10) and an older traditional style 9 where you are hitting over hedgerows / grass bunkers requiring more accuracy. What disappointed us was the lack of club atmosphere which we normally enjoy at our own course nearby - overall ok but we won’t rush back for a rematch.

Wonderful course, situated in the beautiful countryside of Suffolk, terrific condition which leads to an overall feeling of playing a very special, loved course.

The par 5's are laid out in a way which rewards good ball striking and the greens are beautiful, not too fast or slow. The nice open fairways reward good drives and although the course isn't long, there are enough hazards to catch you out. Great days golf

Love this course . In great condition staff and players always friendly.

My first time playing 18 holes although my partner plays here quite regularly. As a novice I found the front 9 quite daunting but I really enjoyed the back 9 where the ground was spongier and assisted my game. I haven't rated the staff friendliness any higher as we didn't actually see anyone. However everyone we met on the course was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely return when I've had more lessons and practice.

This really is a course of two sides, the private and public land parts. The course is in good condition with really good greens and some nice challenging holes. Bunkers were fair but it had been raining so hard to judge as sand was wet, You could really tell the difference between the holes that were on public ground and that on private land. The private land holes were ok but trees were all very in line with similar spacings and it gave a feel of manufacturing a course rather than creating one. Was sill ok to play but not as appealing as the back nine. The holes on the back nine had more charm. Although the course seemed in the same condition throughout which was good. The only thing which we were not keen on were the number of pathways and roads going across fairways and holes and we could see there were a number of greens which were very close to tee offs, which needed lots of care, with people having to wait until clear. Can only presume this would cause a problem if busy. Luckily it wasn't for us. We would play the course again as much of it was nice, in good condition and some holes were really good, just not sure I could play it every week.
