North Manchester Golf Club

Good course with a variation of holes its tree lined but not too punishing quite easy to navigate and a fair test that would suite all standards of players,i enjoyed playing north Manchester and will play again.

Played using the golf now app and just paid £22, the course was superb, they have made a lot of nice improvements since I last played there not least a lovely little snack shack at the side of the 9th green.

Played many of the Manchester courses and overlooked N Manc until this week. It was a great decision to play and really good value.

The course has a fantastic layout, a great mixture of holes and proper par 4’s where a solid tee shot is required to hit the GIR. Greens fairly undulating and ran very true, even considering a small micro tine has been carried out (I assume )in the previous week or so. I even managed to shoot a 75, playing off 9 with a memorable eagle on 17th!

We paid £35 green fee.

The layout of this course is fantastic, with some very testing and long par 4s.

However, the greens are of the standard of a municipal course. They had just been hollow tined, which is shocking at this time of year (early May) and there was more sand than grass on them.

The state of the greens really let this course down as it has huge potential.

Would highly recommend this course if you like big par fours. Excellent condition and very testing, course.

Firstly, this golf course is excellent in the summer and is definitely worth a visit.

However, in the winter its like going back in time with winter mats required everywhere, no summer tees at all and many winter greens. I understand this if necessary but even after storms the course is dry and only wet in walking areas like every other golf course. There is no need for these strict rules on this golf course. On some holes the tees have moved completely with no yardages given on them which is just down to nothing else but lazyness

North Manchester golf club also has a problem with no intermediate catagories for membership and simply offering an "under 40" catagory which is really overpriced for a course which has such poor winter rules when your aged anything under 30 as most golf courses offer different prices for age ranges, all of which are cheaper for my age

Played North Manchester in the middle of January. Despite the time of year, the course was really well maintained with what just be great drainage. Winter rules consisted of some winter tees, fairway mats (understandable) and only two winter greens. Playing this course for the first time, I found it was a great test with a lot of hole variety. Practice facilities were also good. Will definitely play again.

Had a round today with a Friend nice first welcome from the staff in the pro shop and very polite members also great course layout and some cracking holes also some challenging ones to make you think.

Course in bad condition at the moment and that's only because of the time of the year and the poor weather we have had.

Can't wait to play here again when the course is dry in the summer and in tip top shape don't be put of by the two stars for course condition Harry Houdini couldn't sort it after the rain we have had lately.

A challenging course that has a nice layout, well-maintained greens and fairways and long par-4s. Quite enjoyable especially on a nice day like today when the sun was out. Staff were all friendly.

A great course, with plenty of variation to keep one interested.

The staff in the pro shop were friendly and the condition of the course was excellent.

I was playing on my own, and was let through by 3 fourball ahead of me without any problem.

The course itself offers a great selection of holes with undulating fairways, a couple of drivable par 4s. The fairway widths are generous in places which allow for plenty of practice with the big stick (something I need).

I would definitely recommend this course to friends as one of the better courses around Manchester.
