Marland Golf at Springfield Park

A lovely course with lots of interesting holes and fabulous views across the Penines. Although quite short at 6700 yds this course provided a decent challenge. Straight hitting was definitely helpful.

Enjoy playing marland in the summer some good holes on the course great price and a well looked after course. Got out early and was good pace of play would definitely recommend it to anyone

First and last time here,poor course got lost on course numerous times no signs telling where to go next,could do with pictures on tees explaining where the hole is as at least 7 blind holes,tees we're poor and bunkers are shocking not one was raked,but saying that you get what you pay for.never again.

On arrival went straight to the tee as no one had booked behind us for at least an hour,but couldn't believe how many blind holes their were,tees were very poor bunkers look like they hadn't been raked for days,greens weren't that bad,but as I hadn't played it before I found it very confusing,need more markers showing which way to go and maps of each holes on the tees.all in all very disappointed and will be our last time.and as we had booked with now one behind us by the time we had finished it looked like people were just coming on and starting anywhere they wanted,

Can't complain, interesting holes, not to taxing of a walk and cheap

First time playing here, the fairways for this time of are bouncing and rolling brilliantly. The condition of the greens and the fairways are excellent

This course is good for a municipal course, there are a few blind tee shots but overall I'd say this course is very forgiving and good for all levels of golfers.

The par 4 15th is a monster hole, very long and takes some decent shots to get down in par.

The course conditions are very reasonable considering the amount of rainfall in the last few weeks! Played it three times now and will definitely return again.

Had a great day at Marland golf course, the bacon sandwich and coffee was a great start. Played the course which was in very good condition at this Time of year the ground staff have done a great job, met 2 golfers as we made a 4 some for a few holes they were friendly and very good players as we are not that good, I fully recommend this golf club for a visit had a great day , all the best for the new year and keep whacking

Played this course many times in all its guises over the years but its always nice to come back to friendly staff, greens in great condition for time of year maybe worth putting some mats down now as the tee boxes are suffering a long season but very enjoyable round .

Course condition and greens were spot on. Pace of play isn’t great waiting on every tee turning a shortish golf course into a 5 hour course. It is forgiving however I think there is only 3 or 4 holes that you can actually see the flag or green rest of them your hitting blind

The course was in ok condition, some battered tee beds but fairways and greens generally OK. Holes are quite short other than a 220yard par 3. A pretty forgiving layout, for the money it was good.

Nice course ,I would recommend getting a scorecard so you know where the greens are placed as most are not visible from some fairways the greens are in good condition and some will test your putting as they slop off but overall a very pleasant golf course .

The course is in fantastic overall condition bar a couple of tees.

Front 9 holes are very open and forgiving if you drive over the marker posts. The back 9 not so with a few very tricky holes. The 17 th is a killer hole all uphill!
