Bury Golf Club

I’ve played this course many times. It’s a great course just north of Manchester. Tees need a little maintenance as they were a bit bumpy also the greens were a little bumpy but manageable. Overall a nice course, good pace of play and the pro shop and staff are always friendly and helpful.

Hit into multiple times through out the round without warning

People had played our balls claiming it was there’s, despite us tracking it down the fairway

Course is lovely but the above ruined it for us

I played solo on this course and it was worth every penny, the fairway rough and greens all felt as if they shoudl be, nice amount of par 5 and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier, strong contender I my quest for finding the perfect course to become a member of

The course layout was okay, but the biggest issue for me was the price—£40 per person just didn’t feel worth it. The greens were in poor condition, which really let the experience down. I've played on courses that charge around £20 per person and are in far better shape. That said, I do think this course has potential—it’s got the qualities to be great, it just needs more attention and care.

Nice course with lots of interesting holes in good condition. Friendly members, not so much the staff member in the pro shop.

No winter greens, no fairway mats, only one par 3 tee box on mat - all others normal tees apart from one of the par 5 tee boxes playing as a par 4 off the red tee.

Excellent for this time of year.

Really enjoyed the course, number of really good holes, great layout and conditions were good for the time of year. Will definitely play again in the summer.

First time playing here. Staff and club members were friendly, course is in great condition even for November. Picturesque sights and would recommend!

Went for an away day late in season given the rain we have had the course was in great condition with a special mention to the greens possibly the best I’ve played on this year The members and staff were very welcoming and friendly all round great day out would recommend a visit to this course

Fantastic course considering the weather we've had it was dry highly recommended

I’d last played this course in the 90’s and it was good then. On arrival we we greeted by James in the Pro shop who was really friendly and checked us in. From the first tee to the 18th green, the course was in superb condition, especially given the recent bad weather. Its and undulating course that tests your course management but very enjoyable. We were a twosome and caught up a couple of members four balls who were very friendly and let us play through with no bother at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this course and we won’t leave it as long next time before we return.

Really good golf course, challenging but fair and in great condition.

Really enjoyed the course which was in great condition and with some testing rough. Made to feel very welcome from start to finish and we will definitely be back.

I am new and a high handicap so I found it Hard but good, definitely returning to play again.
