For the price, so class
Got a great deal through golf now and for the money it’s great. Nice and wide, great for practice.
The Navy's in Town
Considering the recent poor weather conditions and renovations to 15th and 17th holes the course remains in remarkably good order.
The greens are running fast and with the small changes in grain cut are challenging but in again good order.
Once the weather gets a bit better and the fairways can be cut short the spring and summer should see great golfing.
Keep up the good work guys.

Bit wet
Course was bit soggy off the fairways and tees bit boggy
Held up late afternoon by a five ball
A bit muddy
Considering the recent wet weather it's not too bad, quite muddy in places, but playable and greens ok.
A good suburban course
This certainly isn't one of those manicured courses that you pay a lot of money to go around. It isn't too muddy in the winter, and the fairways and greens are in reasonable condition, and it's not a challenging course. The staff in the bar/cafe are lovely but the bloke in the pro shop isn't! When I checked in he didn't even have the courtesy to look at me; he kept his eyes on his screen and mumbled. He did the same last time I went to check in. I think this is a great little suburban course, apart from the bloke in the pro shop.
They were putting in drains but didn’t disrupt the flow of the golf
You must remember it is November in winter the course was in decent condition the greens were in good condition for the time of year keep up the good work hope to play again soon
Good course but a bit muddy plus it didn’t help with some of the fairways being worked on!
Good Sunday 2 Ball Practice Round
Course in a reasonable condition. Work underway on the second nine to improve drainage. Four ball in front of us had no intention of letting us play through, so not a quick round. Good atmosphere in bar after round.
A little gem
What a surprise 👍
Really nice course - greens in very good condition - fairways good bunkers need a little attention - a couple of holes were have drainage installed 👍 the night before it had rain d really heavily but you would not have know
Staff really friendly
Have paid a lot more for not such good quality
Will be back
A work in progress.
Still need to sort 15 and 17. That’s been going on for some time. And could do without the kids cutting across the course. I don’t know how you solve that one. I enjoy this course apart from the back end, which disappoints me.
Bulwell hall is my local and regular course. Usually I can't fault the place, but recently it was well below par. First off all they had closed 3 (arguably the best) holes because of fixing drainage issues. Obviously those issues need resolving, but they were still charging full price to go round.
Also there had been some rain in the days before, and although they were fixing the drainage issues, they hadn't spiked any of the greens. This meant there was a lot of standing water on them.
Very poor conditions
Slow round with little etiquette from players in front. Ruts in fairways from vehicles and trolleys dried from when very wet when course was unplayable due to ground conditions. Long rough and dry greens not holding ball. Some holes not worth playing due to poor maintenance. Needs to improve a lot and tickets from cafe staff who seemingly don’t know the course itself. Dog walkers all over and no signage for next holes . Ignoring emails . Would not return here having given it a chance in Summer. Winter its very very muddy.
I love playing bulwell hall, it's very local to me and the value for money is excellent. But yesterday I paid £20 for a round whereas usually it's between £10 and £15. 3 of the holes were out of play because of them sorting drainage out, and the price wasn't altered to reflect this.
Enjoyable
Enjoyed the course, it was very windy on the day so lots of leaves on the greens, bit of a trek from 14-15 and not much signage but apart from that good course.
