Wet course but still so much fun
I’ve played the front 9 a few times but managed to get out intending to play the full 18 holes. Two holes were closed due to course conditions and buggy access wasn’t available the whole way round. Its winter, its rained quite heavily recently and so it’s understandable that some areas would be inaccessible. The greens were still great, we still had a great round and we’ll be back again pretty soon. Great staff, excellent service and friendly patrons make for an excellent experience. I’d love a dry area to warm up with nets but that would be my only ask of Bullwell Hall.
Very wet course should be closed on fay
Prepared to take money for 18 holes but wettest course ever played. Should have been closed and told about horrendously muddy 6 inch mud in fairways beforehand.
Did not respond to email so will not go there again.
Played this course in the summer and now winter. If you get the chance play this course.
Bullwell hall
Excellent course, very friendly people would recommend this course to anybody Beautiful facilities
Bullwell hall
Excellent golf course, very friendly people beautiful day out Excellent facilities I would recommend this course to anybody
Wet not and flags removed by staff
Course on verge of being unplayable . Told 15,16 and 17 closed due to water not draining. But found fairway of 13 still open but 6 inches of muddy water all over fairway . During round green keeper said he was told to remove all flags at 3pm whilst still playing round . The open greens were ok but fairways mostly undistinguished from rough. Should not have been open today as not playable as a golf course and can’t recommend at all. Stay away in wet winter conditions.
Nice course
Played here today brilliant course for beginners will definitely be back few tees had been moved due to weather bit great day 👍
Halcyon day!
Fantastic course and an absolute bargain at £15. Good speed of play even with a 4 ball in front of us. Excellent beginner course with wide open fairways so you can get the dig dog out regularly.
For how much the course cost to play you can't grumble at all really
Ted
Took my son for his first ever 18 holes. I'm a member elsewhere, but Bulwell Hall ideal for beginners. No snobby members, wide fairways so quite forgiving but fairways in great condition. Mature attractive course and great value.
Friendly clubhouse and good choice of refreshments. Will come back soon
Played the course with a few pals, not a bad layout of the course. I can’t complain for the money, bunkers need a little tlc and greens were some of the slowest I’ve played.
Great value and good pace of play
Played on a Friday, great deal for a one ball through GN. V hot day but got round in good time, one four ball let me through swiftly. Course condition good, greens also good and rough not too punishing.
Course needs work
Not a bad course greens need a lot of work to get up to decent standard other than that great cheap course
Brilliant
Played here just for a change and wasn’t expecting anything special due to tee price but really surprised. I’m a high handicapper so used to being in the trees regularly but the fairways are nice and wide and super forgiving, Just a good honest course and will be back, worth every penny.
Excellent
I cannot speak highly enough of this place the course is excellent the staff are welcoming, the food is great and the course is brilliant, it is easy to walk around, the greens are very good, the last 3 holes were a bit damp but they will dry out in a couple of days.
BULWELL HALL you never fail to deliver, a great day again. Thanks
10 out of 10 brilliant
Good course for cheap golf
This is a nice course for cheap golf - I wouldn’t want to pay anymore than the £15 we paid for an early tee off. Need to be careful going from 6 to 7 as signage needs to be better. Also better signs from 14 to 15, a couple of pathways through woods can lead to a long walk if wrong path taken. On the whole a nice course.
