Couldn't fault this course for the amount you pay. From the staff in the clubhouse to playing the course. Everything was excellent . Would definitely recommend playing. BARGAIN !!

Good course for price always seem to have carts available and staff friendly greens okay only thing I’d say maybe needs doing is just a better guide to get to the 15th had a few people come up to me on the 18th thinking it’s the 15th,

Now days getting a round for 20 quid for really nice conditions is rare. Me and a friend went round today for the first time and have to say we really enjoyed it. Fairways and greens in really nice conditions. Tee boxes were a little worn in areas but in general impressed for £20. Will definitely play there again.

A good early morning round, not too congested, decent weather, good wide fairways. no rakes in the bunkers, so sand poor quality in most bunkers. Good friendly service for coffee after round.

I think if I played it again, I’d miss the last 3/4 holes this time of year or through the winter as per the water logging…

Course 1-14 in general good condition and is a good challenge. But it just needs a bit of care and attention ie

un-raked bunkers ect…

Lovely course. Mad great improvements on the tee box and greens. 15th is still a bit of a problem with drainage but can't be helped. Course was in great condition.

Played solo, couple of groups in front really pleasant and allowed me to play through.

Clubhouse is decent. Staff very friendly.

Course in great condition for type of year..The 15th the only let down but I'm sure over time the staff will get it back to its former glory ..Would like it have few more hazards etc to make it less striaght forward ..Couple more ales in the bar would be great too ..

Nice course few bad holes that I under repair but you can’t be the price for good course

Played this week and course and greens were in good condition considering the time of year. Hole 15 a work in progress but still very playable. Lots of other work ongoing so can only see it approving. Great value and not too busy. We’ll be there again soon

I paid £6 for 18 holes at this course and overall I had a fantastic time. There was a deal which was on for one particular tee time on one day and for a £1 a hole I couldn't turn it down. Here's my positives and Negatives from the experience:

+ Excellent Value for Money, even if paying full price.

+ Rate of play was fantastic, was never waiting for people on the way round or felt particularly rushed.

+ Greens were excellent and course was well looked after for the most part.

+ The course itself is challenging enough to get on with for a beginner without being too hard. The same goes for someone at an intermediate level.

- Played in winter and there was no mats to tee off from, the 15th hole in particularly must suffer from drainage and they had no trolleys on the course, the path was waterlogged in parts and winter tee box extremely slippy, needed a mat really.

- The flags had been stolen on the 15th, 16th, and 17th tees. Not something the course could control but still annoying. I ended up walking to the green and putting an upside down golf umbrella in so i knew where to aim.

- The course layout is not particularly intuitive, there were signs but particularly between the 14th and 15th it was noticeable. One sign pointed one way then had three paths diverting off so I ended up playing the 18th and came back around.

- After my round there were two people shouting at each other walking out of the clubhouse and back in again, with one stating he knew boxing and was going to knock the other out. Bit of an odd experience at a golf course, I've had to knock a star off as i didn't see any staff trying to de-escalate the situation, it was such a shame it was right at the end of the day so the last memory of my day out. I would go back again but would probably wait for better weather.

Played this course for the first time in a very long time. Found no putting green and only a couple of practice nets. That was OK though as I don't normally bother practicing nowadays. The fairways were very good. No rakes for the bunkers so it was use your feet and place again. Greens were quite fluffy bumpy and slow. However for the price we paid we were happy enough to get out and have a game. Hole 15 is having a lot of work done so was very wet and muddy. Overall it was OK and would probably have another game there if we can get another good deal and pick a nice day.. the clubhouse is good too.

This course is a work in progress as it’s just been taken over. But much improved, and with plans to redesign hole 15 which can only make it better .

First time we have played the course and really enjoyed it. Other golfer were friendly and helpful in giving us directions. Greens were being worked on which made putting slightly difficult but were told greens were a major project so not upset by it. Nice course layout and good walk.

The course was in reasonable condition for the time of year. Although not the highest level of course it still represents very good value for money and a good round.

Played here a few times now, excellent value for money, the course is a good challenge for all abilities.

Plenty of improvements are being made.

I am a new starter to golf and this coarse is perfect for me to come and have a practice in the evening. Its great value for money and not always really busy.

The tees are not level, grass not cut generally a mess, fairways were very good with the exception of a couple, the main disappointment was the greens it was like putting on temporary greens, I would not recommend this course.
