Good all round course.
Played here for the first time yesterday, course is well laid out and cared for. Not too challenging so ideal for golfers of all levels. Greens are quite fast and undulating which gives putting that extra challenge. Will come back and play again in the future.

Some great holes on this course and beautiful views! Would definitely play it again if in the area.

Very friendly professional made us welcome - the course was in the best condition I have seen it - very enjoyable!

Short but challenging and fun
Some brilliant greens make the short par fours tricky to score well on. Fantastic condition and I'll be coming back shortly. A really fun, interesting course.

What a lovely atmosphere from the friendly staff and well stocked shop to happy players and beautiful challenging course. Will definitely go back in search of self improvement in play!

The best course we have played in Devon from the pro,s welcome the shop sales the condition of the course the friendliness of the members and after the great clubhouse comfort and prices a great day can be had here
Brilliant condition
This has got to be one of the best courses around from the friendly pro the members and staff all contribute to a fantastic day out the course is superb and challenging with beautiful holes a credit to the green staff can't wait to return
Pleasant Course
Nice course but the undulations meant that even good shots rolled of the fairway. A few of the holes do play close to each other and you do have to have your wits about you. On the day the weather kept changing but ended up just raining - a trait of the area.
Best I've played in a long while
on holiday in the area this was the nearest course. Result.
What an absolute gem. Firstly the staff, in particular John in the pro shop, could not do enough for us. Don't know if that is typical of the area but what a refreshing change. To extent of lending one of us some clubs! Although he may not thank me for including that.
On to the course we were told was not long but a little challenging. No kidding. Wow. Stunning layout all the way round, some viciously sideways sloping fairways. Whole course was in superb condition. Most holes are a visual treat in particular two par 3's the 13th and 15th delightful.
As two mid to high handi clappers we probably didn't do the place justice but we had a fabulous day trying.
Recommend to anyone. Thanks again to the staff.

Absolutely stunning place very testing and difficult greens to read. You need every shot in the book to play well here. Love the place and the people are super friendly. Highly recommended

A great course brilliant greens and fairways then down by the river the hole are just fantastic just goes to show you don't have to use a driver all the time to have fun but some holes you really need it great course
lightning greens
We arrived nearly two hours early but were told we could go out when we were ready instead of our tee time.We had a nice cooked breakfast before we started to play as a foursome.Most of the fairways slope either left or right into trees so you have to make sure you hit it fairly straight or you will be punished.the course is very pretty and very well maintained.The greens were extra special and half of them had some slope or other on them to catch out the stronger than perfect shot it and they were so fast,but we had a great time and will be sure to make a return visit
