We played this course and we’re unaware of a partial course closure until we were on the 5th tee I was told to contact yourselves by the pro shop which I did on Twitter but have had no response

Closed the bar so no drink after round at 130pm !

Chap in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful pre round.

The course was in great condition. Each hole offers a different challenge, will definitely be back

The course was in fantastic condition. It has varied and challenging features set in beautiful woodland. I would definitely recommend it and play there again.

A real enjoyable course which was in great condition with many challenging and often tight fairways where ball positioning rather than distance is required.

Played on a sunny Saturday afternoon in late June. Fairways and greens were in simply excellent condition and it was a pleasure to play here. Some long par 4’s that need good distance and straight hitting. Afterwards the local ale is a treat not to be missed on the terrace overlooking the course.

The course is pretty and well kept. I just don’t like playing across a fairway and sharing a fairway. There are no signs to say who plays first. It was unfortunate that we played behind a society. There were novices just in front and someone told us that some at the front had lost 4 holes. We were lucky that the weather was sunny and warm so not bad for standing and waiting. I went with a friend who is going to play it again in a competition.

This was my first time at Oundle and it will be my last. Really picturesque countryside course and well maintained. However, the layout is both confusing and in parts dangerous. There is a shared green, a shared fairway and all very unclear.

Good challenging course, just surprised that after the lockdown and lack of use the greens were in such a poor condition

Nice course, and even though it was a Bank Holiday Saturday just after lockdown, the pace of play was fine. We really enjoyed the round. The only very minor gripes would be that the greens weren't in the best condition. Maybe the staff had been furloughed during lockdown, and they'll get better in time (very bobbly).

Also, it's a course that you'd benefit from playing a few times. It's very tough to know where the green is at times, and the shared fairway / tee box in the middle of the course can get confusing.

Overall though, i'd be back.
