Oundle Golf Club

3rd time I have played oundle this year. Undulating course is a true challenge. Wish the course would sort the drainage issues which has closed 4 holes again.

Apart from that great and will be back.

It’s a shame a few of the holes were closed off but I really enjoyed my round here despite the wet winter weather - most of the course is in a really good condition.I think it’s a stunning course with some really interesting holes and a good exercise.

A few holes were slightly annoying with shared fairways meaning having to wait for another group to go or have them wait for me and watch my terrible duff shots!

course was in good condition , but shared fairways made play a bit stop and start.

greens and fairways in good condition but due to heavy rainfall holes 5-8 were not in use.

Each time I play I’m surprised by the quality of the maintenance of this course for the price of a round! Done a very smart job of the land they have, some par 4 you can hit off the tee, others you have to play with a bit of intelligence. Overall a very well golf course.

We both enjoyed our visit to Oundle where we find the local members welcoming. Some of the greens posed a serious challenge because of pin positions. Fairways were good and clear so for winter golf it was very good.

Excellent course considering the weather in good condition all four of us enjoyed the day and would look to go back and play agian

Certainly some different types of holes made it really interesting. First time playing there (usually play at other courses around the area).

Course was in excellent condition considering the time of year (some greens were being spiked so a few putts were a little bobbly but of course understood the reasons and gives an excuse for a bad putt)!

Great value for money! Will certainly return in the future.

Loved playing Oundle course. It has relatively narrow tree lined fairways and the quirky layout means you’re always kept on your toes. Can’t wait to play there again

Do not waste your money,!! Groundsman must of had a fee months off.

waterlogged/boggy on nearly every hole, 1 or 2 holes share the same green (not ideal when 2 sets of people are aiming on the same greens)

Course layout is very poor, quite often you have to walk across fairways when people are playing, poorly maintained fairways too (which have quite long grass) poorly maintained greens which have many divots/chunks missing/weeds growing.

Grass cutter must have ran over mine and my playing partners balls 3/4 times. And the golf buggy was an absolute death trap, which struggled to turn and lacked the life to get round most of the course.

Had high expectations but it failed miserably.

This course is very unique in the way holes are setup. You are on the second tee and you have the 14 fairway about 90 feet below you. It has some challenging hole (6th) but some great short holes that make you think. You have to use course management a lot and I like that about a course

Quite a nice tidy course. Fairways and greens in good condition. A little hilly on some holes. Back nine much shorter than front. Would definitely play again.

One of those really interesting courses that’s fun to play for the first time. My friend and I found it really interesting without being too challenging at the same time. My friend plays off 8 and I play off 26 and we both played to our handicaps and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Staff were friendly, the course was well kept and not very busy (there was 44mph winds though). The only thing to be aware of is the fairways that cross over and shared tee boxes could be confusing if you haven’t got your wits about you.

Lovely course and veiws, not easy , lots of cris cross , got a bit lostt

I love playing Oundle because of the unusual layout and interesting greens.

Course was in great shape.

Good course, enjoyed the interlinking holes and generally in decent condition. Could do with the bar being open a bit later.. no other complaints.
