Paultons Golf Centre - Championship Course

I mean for value and for the fact it was January 4th and everything was frozen. The course was holding up very well. Would recommend this course to any level of golfer.

Greens had a good pace for the time of year and the course wasn’t in bad condition although none of the bunkers had been raked for days the sand was compacted like a path with footprints and divots from previous players, pace of play was slow until a group of members decided to jump in front of other paying guests causing the play to slow down even further decided to call it quits after 10 hole as it was taking too long and daylight was fading

Given the time of year, the cource is in pretty good condition. All 18 greens were open with only 1 hole (10th) reduced to a par 3.

Despite being extremely foggy the pace of play was good.

If there is one gripe, I would say the club house is looking a little tired & needs a bit of TLC. (one of the toilet doors is missing....) but the staff are very welcoming & friendly.

Definitely worth a visit.

Been a regular course for me over the past 10 years but recent few years this course has gone down hill due to being available on golf now and the way it’s run, flooding the course with as many players as possible with buggy’s on at this time of year churning the fairways up people doing donuts all over show even saw 6 people with buggy’s on one hole, players not letting other players cos there slow play, people skipping holes to try in front of slow play causing more slow play. 3rd time of playing the course we’ve had to walk off after 11 holes taking nearly 4 hours. Feel sorry the members

Given the amount of rain we have had lately the course has held up well.

Concidering all the rain we had thi week the course was in ptetty good condtion. Cant complain for the price,

Great course which is well maintained and super fast greens. Some challenging holes but also some wide fairways to cater for all abilities. Great course and would recommend.

A quality golf course for the price. Well laid out with a mixture of difficulty in holes for both new and experienced players. Greens were a little sandy at time of play but otherwise no complaints.

Excellent course really enjoyed playing there, great service from the staff, all in all a great day

After reading reviews was pleasantly surprised . Better than expected.

Enjoyed course generally albeit tees were poor also green surrounds and many bunkers out of play, Current drought situation past and present not helping. Greens very fast and not holding. Cost competitive reflecting general quality of course compared to other local courses. Additional watering would help

Course in a parched condition but in fairness so is everywhere else at the moment. Enjoyable course to play. Fast conditions made course very benign.

Disappointed to see all the bunkers being removed. Makes the course too easy without the hazards.

This course is very forgiving for those who have a high handicap, with wide well cut fairways. Most greens have been well looked after but the tees really need some work, a good watering would help. Overall you will have a great time if you decide to play at Paultons.

The course has a good layout, but unfortunately it was very slow play and the greens are well below standard quality.

Course has a good veriaty of different holes, lay out is good ,bunkers need some work sand is solid some gur but course fairways are in good condition greens have improved from my last visit looks like improvements are in progress

Late morning tee in good weather. Fairways in decent order, as were majority of greens. Bunkers really poor. Pace of play was slow at 4hrs twenty minutes with hold ups at every tee . Mid week golf should be quicker but no course marshalls to get things moving.

Entered the course up a long beautiful driveway. Pulled up to a nice looking club house and driving range

Paid only £20 for 18

Couldn't see a course map anywhere so asked the kid in the shop to which he couldn't find one and not even printed on score cards?!

Anyway we kicked off following another group. First hole green was OK but that's where it ended. Almost every green was like the face of the moon. Divots and imperfections on every one

And almost every bunker GUR.

The course was so nice to look at, varied holes with great potential, robots cutting lawns all around.

Based on the overall I won't return. Its June ie season is well under way and this is not acceptable even for the price

My playing partner was equally unimpressed
