Pike Fold Golf Club

Had another amazing round with a group of friends Friday afternoon. Pace of play was pretty quick but the course was in very good condition but this was the case prior to the recent nice weather.

Staff always welcoming, great layout and considering most of the courses round the area are very hilly, this is very flat and very well maintained. If you stay in play you will be good, if not bring plenty of balls but shops fully stocked 😂

Had a fantastic round at Pike Fold, the course was in great condition.. challenging and varied. Friendly and helpful staff unlike some other courses in the area, all in all a great golfing experience.

Brilliant golf course. Par 71 from the whites. Par 72 from Yellow and Reds. Smooth and fast greens. Fairways mowed to a high quality standard. Rough was very forgiving. Really difficult to lose a ball unless you go really far left/right or into water.

Pace of play for us was slower than would have liked. Took over 5 hours to get round, however it was extremely busy and several 3/4 balls in front of us, therefore I wouldn’t expect this to be a consistence pace of play

Loved it from start to finish, staff were welcoming course was in amazing shape and the views spectacular. It’s nice to find a course around the area where you are not scaling mountains every hole, will be back for sure.

look forward to playing again as tis was after a down poor and wet night.. green held up really well and the course when drier will be great.. super value for money..

Well laid out course with some really nice holes. Staff and Pro all really good and make you feel really welcome. Cant believe how good the course was with all the rain that we have had. No mud and no plugs, Greens where lovely. All round a very, very good course and will definitely be returning in the very near future.

Greens where in amazing condition even after the weather we have had

Stafff told me the fairways were wet and 1st hole was shorted to par 4 instead of 5 but all 18 greens were normal. After playing 18 holes ,I didn’t agree with the staff comment. In fact it was already in a fair condition fairway during this unstable weather . I believed the staff was too humble, just wanted to lower golfer expectation.😊

I love the course with generous wide fairways and the greens were well maintained. I guess the challenging part was few long fairway holes.

Played pike fold golf course and what a course considering all the rain we have had all summer greens open sum tees on winter but most on summer tees and the fairways where soft but very playable will be back in the summer and only paid £18.00 a bargain

This venue really is one to try, plenty of hazards but great fairways and greens.

I really enjoyed my round of golf at Pike fold and will be going back soon

Played for 1st time today,as a 3 ball,with 2 great guys(Tom and Andrew)

I’ve not played for over 2 years,so wasn’t expecting miracles

The course lay out is great,well thought out

Not like some courses where you feel your just walking up and down,passed the previous hole you’ve just played

Would definitely play again,and highly recommend to anyone

Course was boggy in places, greens were in good condition. Hardly anyone on the course that morning. Work being done on parts of the course, drainage, enjoyed the round!

Have played the course several times and it’s always a pleasure. Given recent weather conditions the course was wet underfoot in various places, but the overall condition was still good, the greens were in great nick and it was good to see maintenance work being done.

Pike Fold is a little known gem, and a course we will continue to return to next year.
