Pike Fold Golf Club

My tee off time was 11.10 so turned up early to check in at the pro shop, the guy in the shop was helpful and friendly.

Walking over to the 1st tee I see 2 people on the tee, their tee off was after mine, but the lady asked if we could all go together, I was happy with this so we all tee'd off together.

Walking round and playing with these 2 was a pleasure. Enjoyed the day on a great course with 2 great people, i had the honor of playing golf with a pro and seeing a pro taking a shot like they do wowed me all day.

Despite torrential rain the days leading up to our round I couldn’t fault the course or the greens. Very woo maintained.

Gutted that the last 3 holes were shut, I was on for a PB 😂

Drive a little further and was pleasantly surprised a very well kept course largely flat but had undulating character a perfect balance bunkers seemed to lack a bit of sand? For September id have expected perfectly useable bunkers, get yourself down and have a game

The fairways and course layout are fantastic however when I played the greens had clearly been worked on recently and they we’re very bumpy. Normally wouldn’t bother me but when you pay full price for a round you would expect the greens to be mint.

Maybe they could do a discounted rate in future if they have on going work taking place ?

This is a really nice course. Scenic views and pleasant walking with not too many uphill climbs. The layout is good apart from a few holes where there is a long old walk from green to the next tee. The downside was slow play as the course was quite full and too many greens with many un-repaired pitch marks. I would play it again but probably not at the weekend.

Always a joy to keep coming back to like fold. If I was close enough I would absolutely consider a membership. One slow group almost ruined the day not letting us play through for some time but it happens. Will definitely be back

Great course with immaculate greens. Plenty of variety for golfers if all abilities. One of the top courses around. Will look to book again soon. A course not to be missed and worth the travel to visit.

Worth travelling over from Leeds to play this course. It was in excellent condition and beautifully manicured. The fairways, greens and bunkers were all a pleasure to play from. Will definitely play again.
