The Warren
The layout and shape of the course is fairly interesting. However, the condition of the course is poor...lots of bare patches on fairways. The greens were mossy but otherwise good. There were a lot of poor golfers playing and at places the fairways are a dangerous ' bomb alley' for wayward shots.
Booked through Golfnow, but the club had no record of the booking on their tee sheet.
More investment needed by WBC
Interesting little 9hole course with some good challenges but massively lacking any form of investment from WBC. Sad waste of what could is / was a local asset.
Great value for money
This course has a good windy layout. It isn’t just backwards and forwards. For such a cheap price, it is an amazing course to play when you are bored and don’t want to spend £30 on a round on a windy day
Great little course but…
Great course, nice layout and some interesting holes. Mostly well maintained but unfortunately as it’s municipal it’s open to people walking on it and in the case of our round riding dirt bikes across the greens leaving tyre marks. Not the clubs fault but something to be aware of. Would play again as great value for money and the staff are friendly
First time
Perfect for beginners , strong winds . Greens need a little attention
nice not to be paddling in mud
played midday course in great nick greens bang on a credit to green staff, after all the rain we have had it has stood up to it no problem. i find the way climates are going got to play links golf and the warren well worth a visit.
9 holes
play this course often and is a good challenge, takes weather no problem except 9th green which does get a little bogey in winter, but course ideal especially winter when parkland courses are just a bog.
Warren
Challenges you this nine hole course .You can land in trouble if you stray off the path The course Handles rain very well even after the worst of weather. ..
