Rufford Park Golf & Country Club

nobody informed us of this at the time we made a booking resulting in teeing off nearly 40 mins later took 3 and a half hours to do 9 holes somebody should of informed us that this tournament was on

One of my favourite courses in the area! Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in excellent condition. Only spotted 2-3 rougher patches on the greens. For the price, this is an excellent course and great value for money.

Don’t miss Rufford Park if you are able to play in this area. It’s quite simply the best golf value around

Good course layout, but lacking maintenance and club amenities poor on day of visit with no discounted fees.

Wonderful parkland track. No road noise. Plenty of elevated tee shots.

Nice balcony overlooking the 9th & 18th green with your pint.

Forgot how difficult some of the holes are since I last played

But had a fantastic day out played reasonably well finished off with an excellent chip butty

Friendly staff who made the "checking in" easy and welcomed us to the course. Good challenging course in great condition considering the heavy rain the day before. Overall a great experience and would recommend people to go and play

Course looking tired obviously been played to much over winter requires some sun and rain and maintenance to get back to how it used to be

Had a great day. The only criticism of the whole day was the price of the beer! I realise times have been hard recently, but£4.10 for Tetley smooth takes some explaining. why not have the real ale pump working. I'd pay £4.10 for that

Considering other courses had closed this remained open and drained well for early February in significant rain.

The course does periodically uses temporary greens. This is a frustrating necessity - maintaining good green conditions all year round.

The course is not too hilly and is a pleasure to walk around. The trees are not overly punishing and for a mid handicapper. There are lots of opportunities to hit driver (even if a little wayward) and a good score can be obtained in most conditions.
