Sapey Golf Club - Rowan Course

We enjoyed our round the course conditions were good considering the long dry spell, greens were in good condition, we thought the green fee was a fair price and would visit again

I’ve played at Sapey Golf Course a few times and each time the course has been immaculate, staff are always friendly and helpful, the course layout and upkeep, create the perfect golf experience. The whole experience is always 5* and I will be returning again soon.

Excellent track well laid out perfect for good range of golfers . would join if lived nearer !

Certainly a course for a draw. It was a very hot day but the greens were in great condition and receptive. I hadn’t played it for years and it has certainly matured well.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, course was great, pace of play was a little slow but not awful.

Definitely go back and play again. Club house was having some major works so the pro shop was closed. But overall I enjoyed it there.

Visited Sapey whilst on holiday in the area. Played at 4pm. Course very quiet. Surprising as it’s only £17.50 after 4pm during the week, which is great value for a very well maintained golf course.

Greens not the quickest but very true. Could not blame them for my missed putts!

Fairways in good condition considering the lack of rain we have had in the last month.

Plenty of well established trees to catch anything off line.

Hole 11 and 12 my favourites, both with a large lake to encounter. I avoided it both times !

Lovely club house, although some building going on at the moment, further improvements I assume.

Will definitely play it again when next in Worcestershire.

Played a bargain £16.00 game off golf now apart from the pro shop out of action for building work and not knowing how to book in all went well. A snooty member told me to knock the window. The young man found my game on the comp no probs he said play on if you like so I got off a bit earlier than planned which was nice. A 3 ball of coffin dodgers let me play threw on the first hole then a four ball let me threw on the 3rd then a two ball on the 5th I was nackered by the 9th but a first for me at sapey being let threw so I was beeming with joy to find a clear path . The greens were the best I’ve ever seen and the course in pretty good nick considering the heatwave we have just had. My advice would be play as late as you can here you will have a much better game as past experiences were always slow. Great audience on the 18 th on the balcony missed a 10yard putt to a oooooooohhhhh by the crowed tickled me pink. Great game seemed much quieter than previous experiences but it is holiday week. If you’ve never played it it’s a must for summer but doesn’t play well in winter. So get your shorts on and go for it.

Had a decent round of golf At Sapey. Recommend it for a change

Played Sapey for the first time recently and loved it. Challenging course with excellent green complexes. Didn’t use the amenities so can’t comment on them but staff were friendly and welcoming, will definitely play it again

Great course in good condition. Greens in good condition but plsyed slower than they looked , club house ok , but service slow. Will be going back for sure
