Scalm Park Golf Club

Didn't know what to expect playing this course being part of the leisure park but it was a pleasant surprised from the first to eighteenth. Loved the layout, water hazards are a feature around the early holes and at the turn. Course fit for all abilities providing different challenges. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Enjoyed the day course held up well after a really wet winter.

Leisure course but greens better than many in Yorkshire. Fairways need cutting down by 1/2 inch as playing very long. Some surprisingly nice holes. Facilities shared with caravan park.

Will never be a championship course but actually didn’t play to handicap and nice day out

Very hard for a beginner but enjoy this coarse every time.

Bit sludgy on 1st hole still from all rain, however apart from that corse in very good condition, greens were excellent, cut to perfection. Paid a great price on Golf Now for dinner time tee off, all staff very friendly. All in all I had a really relaxing round of golf--many thanks---Dave

The course has held up really well despite the long rainy winter

Lovely interesting course, not too long for an average golfer. Plenty of tricky holes. Clubhouse was busy with a private party so couldn’t get any food but nice little area to sit outside for a drink on a sunny day.

Excellent course well looked after good food after the front nine.really nice pub with sky plus pool table (.really nice driving range ).and one of the cheapest courses I’ve played on you won’t be disappointed playing this course.👌😊😊😊👍

Great condition for this time of year. 1 and 18 were closed but the rest were good and the greens were excellent

The course was in decent condition for this time of year. Hole 1 was closed as too wet and there were a few other holes that were really soft under foot, but very understandable with the rain we've had recently. The greens were in really good condition though and the whole course was well trimmed and in pretty good condition. For me, Scalm is a really good budget course that just lacks a better pro shop and a practice green. Maybe a couple of practice nets near the first tee, although there is a payable driving range on site.

Great condition for the time of year, greens were quite hard making it hard to land the ball and stay on. Over all though it’s a nice coarse, not super challenging but good for a steady game.

A bit awkward to find. Facilities a bit outdated. Bacon butties at half way house. Served by a lovely lady, and v tasty sarnie. First time played at this course. Very busy n 2-3 teams waiting to tee off at most holes. Very slow play. Fairways needs cutting. Greens bobbly. Layout of course good, easy to move from hole to hole. All in all not too technically difficult, easy walking course, flat. Overall wouldn't return. But good value for money, would perhaps be more enjoyable when less busy mid week.
