Perfect day for golf
It was a perfect day for golf. The weather was fine and dry. The course in great condition and staff friendly and welcoming.I would definitely recommend a visit.
Excellent Course
Most enjoyable game for months, excellent tee boxes, fairways (when hit, ha ha) and greens were impecable. Will defo return in near future.

Lush green open parkland course, fairway grass a little longer than I'm used to but shorter than my playing partners normal course.
Greens were good to play on. Enough hazards to keep you alert.
Unfortunately no hot food available in the clubhouse so had to go to a nearby pub which was recommended by a member of staff.
The course is in great condition and very forgiving for players like myself…
Some of the greens could do with a bit of work but most of them were in good condition. Some challenging holes but overall a great course to play and really good value for money.
Pristine
First time back at scarthingwell for over 2 years, and this is definitely the best condition I've seen the course in. Fairways were immaculate, greens were spotless, not the quickest greens but very true. Overall great condition.
Superb day out
It's true what other reviewers say, friendly welcome, course in very good condition and not too busy either.
We played a 4 ball, all 1st timers at this course but its very playable with wide ish fairways but testing greens with enough bunkers to make this a good test for all levels of ability.
What is most linkable is this is a flat course and so an easy walk especially in the hot conditions we played in. Nice clubhouse and facilities too. Great value for money and we will be back!
A Yorkshire gem
Lovely parkland course in excellent condition . Some thoughtful layouts belie generous fairways to make for some challenging holes.

Nice course well maintained with nice if small greens : alas thunder , lightning and torrential rain forced abandonment at half way
Course condition
Played the course a month ago and it has significantly improved now. Greens much better
Premier course
Matured into One of the best courses in area
Challenging holes with length
Greens and fairways on good condition, comparable with so called premier courses in the area and excellent value for the standard
Played many times and the course has matured into an excellent location with nice balance of long par 5s and shorter holes
Clubhouse and facilities up with the best and would highly recommend
