Played this course many times and it never lets itself down.

Greens and fairway are in exceptional condition

great course in good condition for time of year, can only get better. great course to play March - October as before and after these times the course is wet , nice clubhouse

Played here on weds 27 Feb after a lovely unusual spell of warm weather , have played here many times before as I live locally

Was booked on TeeOffTimes for £20 +the £1 booking fee each x3 golfers £63

On arrival at the course we were scheduled to tee of at 7.48 am playing partner who booked it was told we had to play off mats in the fairways and then produce 3 mats at £6 each on which £4 was returned when the mats were took back in other words charged us £2 for each mat to play

Why we couldn’t just drop to the side I don’t know , we are proficient golfers members of other clubs who know how things work

On returning the mats we vented our dismay to the lad in the shop and asked what was the purpose of paying for mats that they insisted we have obviously to protect the course

His response was the shop had paid for them and this was the way to recover the cost

Wasn’t happy with that and for the benefit of others ask when you book to play here because it will happen again

We explained that we wouldn’t return and the £63 we paid they won’t be getting again

As the title says, but also poor service in the pro shop

Played once before and will play again. Played late on Sunday - perfect time to play got around in 3 hrs. Course in great condition and layout of this course is 1 of the best parkland in the country.

The course was burnt like every other one through the weather, but it was well maintained and the greens were brilliant.

Really enjoyed our round, course was in great condition, lots of ground staff working on the course. Greens difficult to hold due to the hot weather , but very true. For the price we paid it was a bargain, played this course about six years ago, but it is better now. Would definitely recommend this course.

A very enjoyable round of golf for 4 mid handicappers. A good layout with some lovely approaches and tee shots.

Par 3s are a bit similar. You have to plot your way around as the trees will block you out on nearly every hole.

Greens were in great shape with some interesting pin positions. Only downside of the day is the separate prices of food for members and visitors which I feel is a step back into the dark ages. A £2.70 sandwich costs a visitor £5 not exactly welcoming in the 19th.

Always love this course and the fabulous variety of holes . The course is in great condition and one of the best around .

The quality & presentation of this course is a credit to the greens staff. This is a real test of golf, with with some long tough holes. The greens are as good as any championship course.

The course was challenging and included some lovely looking holes. Conditions after a wet winter meant the greens need some work

After the round I stayed for a drink and wished I hadn't bothered . Not allowed in golf bar had to go alone to empty room and pay expensive prices for poor service. Very unfriendly I was deliberately ignored.

Played this course just after a bad nights rain and it drains really well very undulating greens in very good condition for the winter we have had .price was very good value for the course ,would recommend this course to all golfers certainly will be going back to enjoy another round there

Great days golf was had , a lovely course which is well maintained and some lovely par 5’s
