Hilly

Very hilly so I would recommend a buggy to fully enjoy your round. otherwise the course was in really good condition and no faults other than the long hilly walks on some holes and between some greens and tees

Good course !!

Always plenty of scope for tee-time. Well managed course and a good test.

A little on the hilly side - but if you don’t mind that - then we’ll worth a try.

Find this course to be excellent value for money in every sense.

Great surroundings but very hilly

You should get a buggy for this course. I'm 35 and in good health but after some climbs to the green or tee I was in need of a rest. Beautiful surroundings and would play again but definitely with a buggy.

A decent knock

First time playing here, the course layout was brilliant, literally this course has everything, however.... the conditions weren’t brilliant. The fairways need a cut as does the semi. The greens were receptive enough but again just needed a little cut.

The layout is brilliant, from down hill par 3s to up hill par 5s. It’s got the lot. Even though it needs a little attention this is still great value for money. Get a buggy though!!!! It’s a real trek around the course.

1st time player

Course in excellent condition on a hot and sunny day

First time I’ve played and I’d be better next time for it. Back 9 is tougher than front and lots of blind tee shots so maybe some additional visuals to help wouldn’t go amiss

Best course I've played

Made the big hike down from Preston on the back of a few good reviews and all 18 holes being open, when course locally would be struggling to open at all. What a course. Beautiful layout throughout, some holes that wouldn't look out of place at pebble beach. Considering the weather recently, the course was in fine nic. Definitely will be revisiting here, even though it is a mission

Played when most other places were closed

Managed to get a round here when everywhere else was closed due to the recent deluge of rain. Of course it was wet but all things considered it held up really well. We had the course to ourselves and it was a delight. Some stunning views, some cracking holes and where the course gives you a chance to make birdies it also takes it back with some toughies.. It’s not an easy walk but it’s well worth it, will definitely go back in the Summer.

Challenging course

This course is not for the feint hearted as it is a long course. That said the course was in great condition and thoroughly enjoyed playing it. Greens were in excellent condition for time of year.
