Sitwell
Good testing course. Clever design to make you think off the tee. Only small issue was the greens were like concrete as we haven't had much rain and they don't seem to have had much water added if any to soften them up
Great condition
have played here a couple of time before course was in great condition greens fast and true.
Staff freindly and helpful had a beer after and felt welcome.
Our 2 ball joined another 2 ball to make pace of play better but for some reason on the 13th we got held up other than that we saw no one
Would play again legs ache a bit as it is hilly but not just up and down
Great course
Very nice little course with many elevation changes. Would not recommend carrying. 100% will go back.
Beautiful little course
Well maintained and looked after with friendly staff. Really enjoyable course to play challenging with well kept greens and faraway. Will definitely be playing here again soon.
Despite the rain from previous days the course was in good condition with only one winter tee.
Staff was excellent and the two of us played in just over 3hours, a great day.
Great viewing course
Great challenge for mid handicapper.Some long holes with sloping fairways,very hilly in places.Greens and fairways in great condition after a challenging year,although did repair a lot of pitch marks,not sure if this was members or visitors to blame,the course was very busy Always enjoy playing this course,all staff were very friendly
good course
sitwell is a great course, well laid out, great club house & pro, it has obviously been affected over the summer, the fairways were still hard as were the greens. Look forward to playing it again

Great course.
This is the second time I've played this course once being when it was soaked and pick and place.
The course is very hilly and undulating and very tricky with blind tee shots/greens.
The course condition was great to say we hadn't had any rain for a good few months with the greens being testing to read and the speed of them was very fast.
An enjoyable course with great facilities.
I would definitely recommend this course.
Best in the area
Excellent course some very interesting holes weather too hot for the terrain, I wish Rotherham was flatter but all in all would definitely return.
Better Than Ever!
Having played this course on about half a dozen occasions, much credit goes to the greenkeeping staff, as it is in tip-top condition, despite the wet weather over the past few months. There is an excellent variety of holes, which require maximum concentration at all times, to ensure club selection is correct.
Good day
The weather was great staff very friendly more so than the last time I played here.
The course was quite wet after 4 days of sunshine it looked great though a bit up and down but that added to the game ,i played in shorts but glad i played in my waterproof shoes the greens were slower than the last time but ok.
I will play this course again (when dry)

Lovely Golf Club
Unfortunately, on the morning of play, there had been a heavy frost, so temporary greens were in use for the outward 9, before full greens were re-introduced as the ground thawed. Overall, the course was in excellent order for the second half of November and The 19th Hole was also superbly kept, as ever.
Played here lots of time. Beautiful course and friendly staff. Recommended it highly ⛳
Very Nice all round
Loved the lay out, great greens and a very enjoyable round of golf. Greeted well by the club shop who answered all my questions and allowed me to get out a little early. Already recommended to my friends and hoping to book a lesson(s) there soon.
