Enjoyable Experience

Played only 9 on a very cold day but course was packed and lively. Staff and members were welcoming. Would love to play 18 when it’s a little warmer !

Steep learning curve

Looks and feels an expensive golf club as you enter the facilities and approach the 1st tee,. Tight course which you would expect in a residential area, what I didn’t expect was the elevation of a good few holes that makes the course very interesting, had a few temporary tees that spoilt the experience a little bit but very keen to visit in the summer in its full glory, cost was very good for condition and location.

Beautiful course - stiff clientele and slow pace

The course - can not fault it, beautiful conditions throughout, clearly looked after with hole 7 the highlight. Will no doubt be back again with friends as the course is worth sharing.

The pace - painfully slow throughout the 18, 5 minute minimum wait on every tee box and waits between 50% of shots. Started to go dark on hole 15 and the pace didn’t even pick up then. Don’t know how much the course can do about this but the tee time 2 before mine turned up 5 minutes before my tee. So as expected that caused a 10-15 minute delay from the first tee.

The people - staff were sound enough and 90% of the people met on course were just as lovely. As is life, it only takes the one you know what to turn a mood and this course seems to attract the odd one who thinks they’re on tour.

Overall great course, a few of those on it brought it 4 instead of 5 star

Pace of play

The course was in good condition. It is a good layout. It was looking attractive in the good weather. Unfortunately the pace of play is a huge issue, which detracted considerably from the enjoyment of the round. This is much more of an issue at this club than at most others of similar quality in the surrounding areas.

Stunning Course if you’ve got 5 hrs to burn

Stunning course with wide open fairways and raised tee boxes. Mature oaks adorning the fairways and greens. Too many people waiting on the tees however, same as other reviews.

Overall lovely

Cracking course it's nice and friendly and the greenkeepers do a great job.

Alot of members are very slow and it's hard to get let play through, also the fees are pretty high during the winter the price should drop when the ground is icy and the ball will not stay on the green no matter how well you hit it

Sad return

Sad, very sad.

Got the hot deal, play was so slow we almost had to finished the round as lost the light.

The greens where slow compared to most in north london.

I used to play here weekly, but stopped because of slow play. There are signs up in the locker room so it shows that there are issues here.

I won’t be coming back.

Nice course if you have 5 hours

Nice course great views from some of the holes but my goodness the pace of play was atrociously slow.

Took 4h10m to finish a round playing on my own as the groups in front refused to let anyone through.

At one point 3 groups were waiting on a single tee.

The club needs to manage tee time gaps and have a call through policy established.
