£15 golf now trial. Golfer are actually quiet friendly and the course layout is amazing!!! Just wish it was closer to where I live
Never a disappointment
I’ve always had a soft spot for stanmore so getting the chance to play here again so soon after the lockdown restrictions were lifted was a blessing!!!!
The fairways ran well, the rough was well manicured and the greens were true and quick. The bunkers need more sand in them if I was being picky but other than that the course was superb! Just avoid the bunkers
Great condition
Hard to find times but a hot deal at £16 is a bargain for this course.
Fairways in great condition.
And greens are lovely and super fast.

And for £20 for a 4pm tee time, great value for money.
Lovely to be back out playing!
Small complaint: as it was my first time playing here, I was lost in the maze of entrances, doors and rooms to find where you were supposed to go, book etc. Eventually I just made my way to the 1st tee (which again, would be helpful if there were more signs directing you from green to next tee!!) Plus be careful as many memebers of the public randomly pop up as there is a footpath right through the course.
Positives: First time back out since lockdown 3.0 (as was the case for many others!!) Very slow play as we all searched for our hooked drive off the tee but hey, I was happy to be back out and other players were very friendly. Lovely condition as would be expected with all the time they have had. Driving range, nets, chipping area, carts: very good amenities. The views off the 7th were stunning!
Good all round course
A bit hilly, we played on wet grounds, but to be expected with the season. Sludgy in places, but overall was a decent course to play. Played in summer too. Greens can be challenging in the wet.
Nice Course Conditions Value For Money
A friendly welcome on arrival at the pro shop was followed up with an enjoyable round without any hold ups. A nice variety of holes with greens in good condition considering the recent weather.
Booked our 4 ball through the Golf Now app and it was Great Value for money and I would recommend the course and will defiantly play it again.
Excellent course/ slow play
The course played nicely in winter conditions and was well maintained, but there was a 5-ball ahead of us which prevented us from completing 18 holes before dark.
Really nice course, in really good condition
The course was in great condition despite lots of rain previous days. Only bug bear was we were behind two 4 balls meaning we were backed up on a lot of holes. Wouldn't usually be a problem for me but we were in wet conditions during some of the round and also losing light towards the end. I was paired with another Golf Now member and we enjoyed each others company and as I am new person to golf he was really helpful and encouraging.
Great course, even in the pouring rain!
Greens were still quick, even after 2 days continuous rain. It rained for the entire 18 holes we played, annoying weather forecasters!!
The course was in good condition, look forward to playing it again in slightly dryer conditions.
It was late when we finished, but the lady behind was still soo friendly, a credit to the club!
