Picturesque, but soooo slow
Maybe it was my mistake for booking on a Friday. But over 4 1/2 hours for around is seriously not good enough. Plus we then had other two balls trying to push through us saying that as members they were playing a match and therefore they had right of way. Seriously one of the guys took 3 to hit it past the ladies tee. It was embarrassing. We even had a buggy and still
Almost hit the 5 hour mark!!
Everything else was fine and it would’ve been a lovely round of golf on a well-kept course. But golf isn’t meant to be played at that pace and clearly they had booked in to many people in order to try and maximise revenue. We won’t be coming back
Quality Course
Not a long course but it looks long! Terrific condition with the best greens we've played on this year. Almost every hole looks gorgeous, many have long sweeping avenues of trees from high elevation tees.
Only downside is that it's tightly packed and was very busy, if you can accept that it's brilliant.
Lovely traditional clubhouse felt friendly and was still busy early evening when many other courses are closed due to lack of numbers.
We had a real bargain price of £16, unbelievable value for a course of this quality.
Great course
Great course, good conditions. Challenging to the average golfer. Expensive but can see why they charge this much.
Positives: Well maintained course. Greens were fast.
Negatives: Course was busy so quite a but of hold up. Lots of people not following etiquette & hit even though we hadn't cleared fairways.
Great value golf, great greens
Fantastic greens, belll need on Par 3, 6th hole. Players on 7th tee box look like they are on the green.
Some people needs learn golf etiquette
There were two balls infront of us every hole, they were leaving their trolleys infront of green, some hole they didnt even bother removing the trooley as they were teeing off next hole.
We paid good money to enjoy, people like them ruined our day!
