A pleasant return

Played the course after a thirty year absence and was pleasantly surprised. Course in good condition considering the time of year, greenstaff were busy preparing for the season ahead. Off course staff were very helpful, giving me a map of the course and a pen !

The course although short is no push over, the yardage may be short for modern courses but the small underlating greens provide some defence as well as the weather conditions you could possibly encounter. Considering you need to have one leg longer than the other, the course is not for those who may need to hit the gym.

Overall areally enjoyable round. Will be returning especially for the price I paid, £16 , a bargain

Really enjoyable round

Had a great morning at this very steep in places course. The views at the higher holes are worth the trek though. It was a bitterly cold morning and there was still some frost about which later made the ground a little boggy... not everywhere. Some tricky little holes and some really inviting elevated tees asking for big drives back towards the club house. Will definitely play here again. Some holes pretty compacted next to each other and a few cross over each other also. But overall nice short 18 holes.
