An interesting course layout
The course was very wet in places but given the amount of rain we'd had this was understandable. The majority of the course was still enjoyable and well playable with the exception of some of the greens on the front nine which were squealching under foot and plugging the ball quite badly.
Some great holes
Played on Tuesday 25th Aug
We called in unexpectedly and were given a tee time straight away, it was very windy so possibly the reason why it was quiet. Lovely course, some very memorable holes, really enjoyed the afternoon.
Well worth the money and played the course again on the Thursday morning.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, couldn't do enough for us, thanks, will definitely be back.
Very tidy and friendly course
We have found this course very accommodating to pay and play visitors during this lockdown times, and there price remained the same and the welcomed visitors to play, unlike other clubs in our area. The is well kept and although the fairways are very hard currently due to weather the course plays well. As with all course there are some tuff holes and some easier holes, but is quite a forgiving course unless you end up in the water. We have enjoyed playing there that much over the past few weeks since golf started up again that we have joined the club.
In good condition
Course condition is a lot better than any other course I've played since lockdown rules have been relaxed. Greens on the slow side and on some crows have been pecking at them.
Fantastic condition
Course is playing very well
Well done to all involved in running Stoneleigh golf club
Tiring but great round
The course is in great condition and not too challenging. Some really long holes but plenty of wide fairways an hardly a bunker in site!
Thoroughly enjoyable day in the sunshine!
course in general
my friends and I booked this course with a breakfast included before I go on the breakfast was the best thing in the day, never seen one green staff just a bloke blowing dust all over the one hole where we were looking for a players ball we never found it that was in the semi that's the only place there was any grass on account that the fairways were bear and patchy the greens were worse, I don't think they do any work on this course through the year as I said I never seen a sign of a green keeper, I cannot emphasise how bad condition this course was ive played better municipal courses, I repeat go and have the breakfast and forget the golf
Some great holes
I particularly liked the length and level of challenge of the course. Plenty of room on fairways for an occasional golfer like myself.Staff and facilities were great.
Good for high handicap
Some challenges with water and bunkers, but a big contrast between the easiest holes, that could be on a pitch and put, and other well designed holes. The course has a river, very well prepared slow greens, and well maintained bunkers. Pretty empty when I played. May not be challenging enough for low handicappers. but a good course for me!

Decent day
Course ok, pace of play slow but not to bad fours hours to get round , greens slow to what I'm used to, good yes of golf.
Great value for money's
Frustrating
another round at Stoneleigh where members treat guests badly. several times members have acted as though they own the course. Not giving us time to play our shot and move on before teeing off and firing balls past our ears. Supposedly welcomes higher handicapped players but didn't have any respect for my playing partner. Tutting, sighing and making him nervous and rushed.
Quality all round course and staff was ever so helpful!
First time playing this course and would highly recommend it to anyone. Course was kept in beautiful condition and it offers a good test to all abilities of golfer.
Stoneleigh Deer Park G C
Overall the course was in very good condition, greens and fairways. Was a bit scruffy around the greens and course lacks the normal amount of bunkers due to a restriction placed by the land owners ? There is not a flat green on the course which will test the most proficient putters. Land the ball on the green in the right area is essential. Not a course to score easily on , so will test all standards of golfers. Nicely set out in the Warwickshire countryside.
A nice track
Played on Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised that the course wasn't to busy, there was enough players to keep you on your toes but we didn't wait on tees or have people queuing behind us. The course was in very good condition bar the greens which were suffering from a touch of something nasty, but all in all a nice course for the right price.
