Lovely course.

Greens were a bit 'patchy' but I assume due to the weather

I used to be a member for 4 years and the course in the summer is usually very well kept...in my own opinion its not the best winter course because of the river running through parts of it..its the first time I've been back to play with a friend/Guest..and I was disappointed with how poor the tee boxes and greens were

On a positive note the paths have been tarmacad and you always get a warm welcome from the staff and a decent pint in the bar

I know we have had dry summer and some heavy rain in the last week or so but other courses that I play don't seem to have any issues

Not sure I'd be happy paying £80/90 per month for membership for a course that is in such bad condition when you have better options out there for a cheaper subscription

Hope things improve at this once great kept course 🙏

All round great course , tricky greens , fairways good condition considering the weather we’ve had

I love the challenge and setting of this course. It needs some rain to the tees etc after the recent hot dry weather

Nice enough course for the price we paid £22....normally £30 which is pushing it a bit imo.

Play was a little slow but improved as people stopped for some pretty heavy rain...10th onwards was quiet and pace of play good.

Greens much improved. Good challenge. Enjoyable layout

Wicked game for anyone. Greens remind me of the PGA masters. Greens running left right up down.. only gone a done 5 over the back 9. Chuffed

This is a very well looked after, challenging and long golf course, it has everything from long par 5's over water, to hole-in-oneable par 3's. Really enjoy the layout and different holes, that make you think how to play your golf. Recommend a visit to all, no matter what level you play at!!

Played mid week and it was £25. Great value for the layout which was really enjoyable. Some greens could be better on the front 9. Tricky course some small elevated greens. Will be back.

Great course but be very careful where you park I had my van broken into which was not far from the club house

First time playing course ,it was a lovely day course was in good condition except for greens which were not good, tbf when we booked the club shop rep said they were under maintenance for summer, overall would come back again

Had a midday tee time on Saturday, pace of play was excellent.

Was slightly let down by the aerated greens, making putting pretty difficult as the holes were quite large and affected the ball path quite a bit.

Overall a good course though, always enjoy playing here.

Second time playing the course. Fairways in good condition, greens not so much unfortunately. Many pitch marks and holes not repaired, very wet and slow, pace is nothing like the practice green. Bunkers were considered GUR this time of year so why not use temporary greens until they’re in a better state?

Apart from that an enjoyable round. Course is well designed, very undulating and rough is challenging. I’d recommend the course just not this time of year.
