Swaffham Golf Club

Played here a few times now, and each time i find something alse to love about the place.

As with all courses at this time, the persistent dry spell is playing its part on the fairways although no issues with playability, just aestetics, However, the greens are just absolutely next level, by far the best ive played on for some years and a real confidence booster.

The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the shop although small, is well stocked and the area in general is just a pleasure to be in.

Groundstaff need huge praise for their efforts - well done :)

This is a really enjoyable round of golf, the greens were excellent and the layout superb.

I will definitely be returning in the not to distant future.

Great value and he greens are always good. Staff are very welcoming

Lovely little course, really well kept and super fast greens.

Long par 3s and opportunities to pull the driver out of the bag for some lovely Par 4s and 5s.

Practice facilities are a little limited. Is the only negative. Staff were great and the shop and bar had all that was needed.

Played here a few times. Love the course. Big hitters will enjoy it as there are some nice open fairways but also there are some tighter holes too. The course is well looked after and the greens are in really nice condition. The only thing that spoilt this trip was that the greens had just been dressed and sanded which made the roll of the ball unpredictable and there was temporary tee boxes. The clubhouse is a little dated but there is a nice seating area outside overlooking the course. Nicely stocked Pro Shop. The green fees were really good through Golf Now. Half what you would normally pay. Definitely be returning soon.

Always a pleasure to play at Swaffham, a friendly and traditional members club which is important to me. Pace of play was great and we competed in 3hrs 15 mins and before the light went!

Only shame was that we were still off a lot of winter forward tees and one of your signature holes the 17th had a temporary green which was a shame.

I look forward to playing again in May time when hopefully the course will be in superb condition.

Given the freezing cold weather the course was in excellent condition and we were on both the greens and normal tee's

I have played the course a number of times in the past and always enjoyed the variation in the holes and the welcome in the clubhouse and pro shop

All the staff & the members, that we met, we're so very welcoming and friendly. The course was in an excellent condition with spectacular views. The undulating fairways and greens proved challenging. Would highly rate the course. Also, we ate lunch prior to play and it was lovely & our Coeliac friend was well catered for.

Good course. Well maintained. Well designed. Looking forward to reurning.

Nice golf course to play and friendly staff well worth a visit

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Swaffham Golf Club. It is an attractive course and a fair test of golf. The greens had just been hollow-tined and dressed, but the overall quality and playability of the course was excellent. Everybody we met were friendly and helpful. The food on offer was of good quality, well presented, and represented good value for money. We would recommend Swaffham Golf Club to anybody.

Played after 3pm so payed twilight prices (£30 each) that’s about all I would pay to play. In my opinion definitely not a £60 a round peak times course. Have played cheaper courses with better greens and bunkers. Not sure if I would play again.

Great course with some of the best kept greens I've seen. Really enjoyed playing Swaffham. Will be back for sure. For anyone reading this and maybe playing for the first time, the greens are fast. Really fast!
