Todmorden Golf Club

You will not be disappointed! The course, the views and the setting are second to none. From the manicured fairways to the immaculate greens Todmorden Golf Club has to be right up there with my new favourites. The course is challenging, exciting and is overwhelmed with a beauty of the moorlands and far reaching views. The grounds staff are engaging and very professional producing an impressive quality to the course. The staff in the club and the members house top this off by being warm, welcoming and engaging to visitors. An experience I will keep on revisiting!

I have now played the course 4 times. Once played you will want to come back. The layout is fascinating and the course is superbly maintained. The staff from the green keepers to the club house are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The members are equally welcoming and made us feel like a part of the club not just guests. Honestly, the whole experience from start to finish is an absolute pleasure. However, all I can is is wow! The views are amazing!! You will not be disappointed in any aspect !

The course lies on a hillside and I was quite tired after completing 18 holes. That said, it was an extremely hot day too. The course itself was quite challenging with narrow fairways but reasonably wide either side of fairway with light rough only. There are some well-positioned bunkers. The course was in excellent condition and the greenswere running fast. The views from the course are magnificent. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would certainly return. I would recommend golfers to pay a visit.

9 holes all with varying difficulty. Play it twice for the full 18. Secondary tee beds available on some holes.

The course is very well cared for and the scenery is very pleasant as you overlook the town.

At £15 a round it’s very good value for money and not very busy.

What a beautiful golf course and some really well placed holes. Slightly slow play due to being 9 holes but a great course we will visit again.

1st time on this course. Excellent. 30 degrees full on sun and quiet until got caught behind a 4 ball who took a wee while to play !

Loved the course tho and it was in fantastic condition. Greens were so fast but credit to greenkeepers as they were in amazing condition. Very friendly also, pointed me in correct direction and hard working with a constant hum of grass cutters. Stood on 7th and they must have went for tea as it was so peaceful. Wow ! What a hole. Sheer drop to a green with an easy 8 ! Bounced away off to right but has bitten me this hole, can't wait to return.

Hidden gem of a course. Worth the trek.
