Great value and great course
Third time I have played it and it’s a very nice and not too hilly course at a fabulous price. Staff and other players were all friendly on all occasions. Watch out for the ditch at the front of the 18th green. Clear it or lay up to be safe.

Great testing course and great condition all over.
Really enjoyed Towneley GC. Course and greens in great condition. A bit of a trek between some tees but don't let that put you off. Very friendly staff and pro shop. Will definitely return. Some of the views including towards Pendle Hill are fantastic.

Enjoyed the round of golf, course is in great condition this early in the season . Friendly staff and fellow golfers no hold ups anywhere the way golf should be everywhere.

Overall course in good condition. Greens nice and quick, little bumpy due to recent work, early days , will be good in a couple of weeks (weather permitting)

Brilliant course for the money
Such a great course for what it costs always in great condition, pace of play can sometimes be an issue though but that’s how all places are sometimes I guess

For a Municipal Course
For a MC this has got to be one of the best in the country. BBC ( Burnley Borough Council) get some stick when rightly deserved. But all involved with TGC should take a bow.
Even the after golf food should be applauded thank goodness Dan ( Head honcho) can cook better than his golf.
