Loved it until the 17th
Two couples from Fife enjoying new courses in Cumbria. Although some holes seemed quite similar, we enjoyed 17 of them very much and thought condition great given recent weather challenges. To all of us - and not because we all failed to score - the 17th was an aberration. Thank goodness for the wonderful 18th to restore our moods. Bit surprised pro shop staff member could not tell us location of on-course toilet. Would come back though. Views spectacular.
Quality Course in great condition
It is not cheap to play a round here, but it is undoubtedly one of the best courses in the area. It was in excellent condition for the time of year, can highly recommend

First time playing this course. Really enjoyed it, lovely course, well maintained with some lovely views to top it off. Will definitely go back!
We had a great visit to Ulverston . The clubhouse is in the middle of having a new roof but the temporary 19th in the teepees is excellent. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the course itself was very enjoyable. Looking forward to our next visit.

Perfect day
I had only played Ulverston once before and that was about 30 years ago. But my recollections were of an excellent course in a lovely location.
Any expectations that my second visit might not be as good were soon dispelled. The course was in exceptional condition with the tees, fairways, bunkers and greens all absolutely first class.
Thanks to everyone at Ulverston Golf Club for making my second visit as memorable as my first

Love playing Ulverston, rarely get to play it in the summer and even after all the rain it was excellent

Very picturesque and some excellent holes you won’t find on most courses. Highly recommend a round here.
