Superb17 th hole, good wet weather course
When many other courses were restricted due to wet weather this one was not. Good course, and views are fantastic
Ulverston in the sun
A friendly welcome again on arrival and straight off 20 minutes before allocated tee time. Apart from a few temporary greens the course was in excellent condition with not too heavy rough. Playing 18 holes in the sun here is money well spent and a good day out!
Excellent all round
Booked late via the web. Excellent help from secretary and pro. Course was in great nick. Fairways lush and like carpet. Greens slow but in superb condition. Bunkers all consistent, tee boxes ivery tidy. All in all very impressed and we would definitely return. Great value and a credit to the members.
Great Course
If you've never played Ulverston then you don't know what you are missing.
The moment you enter the club house you are greeted with a very friendly welcome from the Club Sec and his 2 very lovely and charming staff.
Go up to the bar where you will get the very same warm welcome.
Nothing seems to much trouble.
The course is always in excellent condition thanks to the dedicated Greens Staff.and the surrounding views from the course are outstanding.
This is just another little Gem in the lake district golfing area.
Put it on your must play list.
Fantastic Course to Play
I have played this course on several occasions over the past few years It has always been in excellent condition and is a good challenge for all golfers whatever their handicap.
You alway receive a very friendly welcome From the Sec and his staff and the bar staff are just as help full and friendly nothings too much trouble. As for the green staff they do a great job with the upkeep of the course.
If you have'nt played Ullverston then put it on your list of must plays you will love the 17th
