Unexpected gem!
Found this course fantastic and unexpected treat. Great holes and the course was in great condition. Greens were superb. Will definitely go back and ply again.
Good round
Really enjoyable round at Walmersley. Course in great condition given the recent weather. Compliments to the green keepers, the fairways were well kept and the greens were fast and tricky, loved it. Highly recommended.
Wonderful course
A great way to review a course you play for the first time, is when all of your party agree that the course is worth playing again. That was unanimous option of my playing group

Played last week abs love it so much I had to come back and play again. Can’t fault the place.
Lovely course
Played this course the day after it rained heavy all day and the fairways and greens were spot on. Very well looked after course and the members and staff we spoke to on the day were friendly. The views are fantastic. Will definitely return.
Brilliant day at a beautiful course
Considering we had solid rain for 24 hours prior to playing we could not believe how well the course held up to it. Hardy any surface water and the greens ran true. A very friendly welcome from all. Will definitely be back again soon.
Brilliant
Brilliant course, really challenging well maintained and beautiful views. Had alot of rain through the week leading up to this day but you couldn't tell, very well maintained. Loved it. Definitely recommend and we'll be going back soon
Great course in great condition
Great course in great condition. Staff and members were extremely friendly. Some challenging holes and the views of the surrounding area are amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable golfing experience. Will definitely be back!
Very enjoyable round
Will kept course, good layout and some really good holes.
Nice course
Well maintained course, layout of the course isnt very flowing, a few long walks to the next tee, we played and had very strong winds which didnt help on some holes, i think 13th has the best views
Average course
There were excellent views but everything seemed a bit condensed in terms of layout, most of the par 4s you're probably as well hitting an iron of the tee, I didn't hit anything more than a 3-wood, some of them I was hitting lovely, expecting to find it on the fairway & it was nowhere to be seen (can only assume it went long). Greens were OK but could probably have been cut shorter.
Current rating is 4.6 which is too high, it's more a 3-star course.
Great views!
First time we’ve played Walmersley. There are some good holes and some great views. A little hilly at times but still very enjoyable. We found the layout a little vague, it would have been helpful to have directions to the next tee box, and we completely missed the 17th green! There were a couple of areas that were very soft and I could imagine the course being boggy in the winter. Not bad value for money with the hot deal, we payed £20, not sure I’d want to pay much more. I’d definitely play here again.
Amazing views
Decent course, good valie for money. Very hilly but some stunning holes woth excellent views. Tee boxes need a cut but overall a decent experience (the weather helped)
