Decent course
The course itself played well and the greens were running nicely. Would reccomend getting a buggy if possible as the course is quite hilly.
Both staff and members were friendly and polite.
Great variety of holes
First time we have played this course, it was in really good condition and the greens were really tricky to read, it is quite hilly and one of us are in his 70s and did feel it .
Excellent course, challenging with beautiful views
The course has beautiful views throughout. The layout is a bit confusing for a first timer and the design of the holes adds to the challenge of the course when you haven’t played it before.
The holes are not the longest but are well designed and offer a good challenge. The course was in perfect condition and it was a thoroughly enjoyable round, would definitely recommend.
“Hidden Gem #2”
I read a review calling this place a hidden gem and that sums it up perfectly. Lovely lay out over a lot of land, due to this there aren’t many hills / up downs!! Really good greens for this time of year. Some great views on the way round. £26 seems steep for a course in this area but it’s decent value for money. Would be more suited around 20/22£
Good round
Good round, was a bit water logged in some places but with all the wet weather we’ve had it was to be expected. Really like this course

Stunning view's great course.
I found this course by accident, me and my playing partner decided this year to try more course's in the Northwest...thank god we did...some people don't like a par 3 opening hole but when it looks like the one a Walmersley you'd be crazy not to love it..the greens are good considering its basically winter.and there's a lot of picturesque holes.
Its well worth a visit..we will certainly be going again.
Unexpected gem!
Found this course fantastic and unexpected treat. Great holes and the course was in great condition. Greens were superb. Will definitely go back and ply again.
Good round
Really enjoyable round at Walmersley. Course in great condition given the recent weather. Compliments to the green keepers, the fairways were well kept and the greens were fast and tricky, loved it. Highly recommended.
Wonderful course
A great way to review a course you play for the first time, is when all of your party agree that the course is worth playing again. That was unanimous option of my playing group
Brilliant course, great value for money
Played last week abs love it so much I had to come back and play again. Can’t fault the place.
