This was my first round of the year and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. We managed to get out on time which isn’t always an easy thing on a sunny Sunday.

We were very lucky that the four ball ahead of us were extremely quick and we never had to wait at each hole.

The course was within good condition with the greens playing true.

Wergs has a lot of interesting holes and is certainly worth a visit.

Course looking good few greens heavily sanded and still a few cosmetic issues but overall very good and great to be back playing

Really nice course, challenging with some long holes. Well maintained and some interesting holes and features. Great value for money.

Can't wait to play this coure in the summer as some holes were shut due to waterlogging. From what I did play though it has definitely wetted my appetite to return. Long course so plenty of opportunities to practice a whole manner of shots.

First time playing here. Staff friendly n helpful. Course was great even though the time of year. Looking forward to playing it again in summer.

I play here every couple of weeks and hsve recently had the joy of watching groundsmen upgrade the course with new bunkers and fresh greens.

Unfortunately alot of the holes are unplayable after/ during the rain. The greens just dont disperse the water and this in turn kills any chance of getting a decent puttung score. Bar that most likely my favourite course around. Beautiful views and long sprawling fairways make each hole a challenge but a joy at the same time.

As a high handicap golfer, this course was very challenging but a rewarding day out.

Your going to have to bring your long game and make sure your short game is accurate. Plenty of water hazards and bunkers on each hole.

Course is a pleasure to go around, well kept water and wildlife,

Course conditions were amazing for the time of year. Greens were mint.

Really impressed with this course, friendly staff and the condition of the course for this time of year was excellent. The cost of a round doesn't break the bank and we will definitely play here again

I was super impressed with this course.Well laid out par73.... possibly a few too many trees could do with thinning out a smidge. Some damp squishy areas but nothing too disastrous. The greens are excellent, running well and holding. Ample parking and all areas well kempt and cut superbly. Overall......8.5/10.

Second time playing here. Brilliant lay out great to look at and first time round very daunting with the long fairways and hazards, second time round not so much.

Only negative I can really find is tbe bunkers are mostly shallow and flat so not a hazard with grass growing out of them. Everything is well kept and tbe greens are very fast so bring light hand to your putts.

Club house is running only in the conservatory area and second time round they used plastic instead of glass And at 3.75 a pint ruined the post match refreshments. Also the heating coyud do with going on both times we have played its been cold and wet outside and neither time was heating on in the bar area so we was freezing cold.

Will definitely play here again regardless of the distance (being 20miles away) and would reccomend to friends.

If your not the fittest maybe hire a buggy for the last nine because it is a hard slog for those of us that like a bacon roll or two.
