Happy customer
Slow round but was expected with it being Easter Saturday.Course was in good condition overall.Tee boxes need a bit work as some were on slopes.Greens were good but little bumpy. Its not a long course and not hilly so it's easy on legs.
New clubhouse is a great addition with its decking area and sliding doors.
Recently refurbished clubhouse
Friendly course recently improved facilities. Busy on the day I played so round was a bit slow. But gave me time to enjoy the walk!
Great course
Having played all other courses in the local area have to say this is by far the nices course in Aylesbury, if you are like us and don't play that offen this course offers you room for mistakes at the same time as prosenting a challenging layout.
We will definitely be playing again.
Value for money
Its been a few years since i last played here, and since the very hot weather all golf courses in the area have suffered. the green keepers have done a remarkable job in keeping the greens as good as possible. but for value for money it was well worth it. the Club house has had extensive work and looks fantastic. As always the staff made you most welcome. I think with a little more work this course will be remarkable.
Course design
Seems this course could have more room to Build, too many holes cross over!!
A jewel on the edge of town
A beautiful parkland course , with some tight fairways and challenging greens. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were excellent, a jewel on the edge of town !!. My only suggestion for improvement would be a little better signage on some holes to direct you to the next tee box. I would recommend this course to any golfer
The Staff make it
Played this course a few times, Always find the course in excellent condition.
But as good as the Course is..its the Staff working here that make it.
Always receive a Warm welcome...feel treated as if we are Members of the club
My friends and I lime to play different courses weekly so say we will not join a club...but if I was ever to consider a membership somewhere it would be here.
Keep up the Good work Weston Turville.
Pleasant surprise.
Well kept, interesting course with a fair amount of water. Look forward to playing again in the summer off the regular tees .
18 mats and 18 temporary greens. Do I need to say more!
Weston Turville is a typical example of a late 20th century golf course built on unsuitable land. The course was waterlogged and should not have been open. The really frustrating thing was that there was no warning on their website that there were 18 mats and 18 temporary greens. If you want to play here bring your wellies.
an enjoyable round
very good course conditions although I would be dubious about playing in the wetter winter months as a number of temporary greens were being prepared.
The facilities were very good and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Good value for money we will definitely play here againdefinitely
Under renovation
I played this course before, but quite a long time ago. They are in the middle of a big renovation in the club house, therefore not very welcoming at present. I am sure it will look good when is complete. As far as the course is concerned, it could do with a little manicure and TLC; especially the greens. The practice nets need to be modernised quickly. Overall it could really be a nice course to play!
Great last minute booking
Played the course a while ago and was to pleased to arrive and found that the club are investing in the club house and I hear the course as well. The bunkers in particular but also the greens do need work but other than that the course is well worth a look for the price.
Good value but very slow
Weston Turvill is very good value for money. Interesting layout but tees a bit scruffy and greens poor in places but overall not bad and quiet fast. Let down by slow play, 4 hrs 20 for a two ball. Mainly due to local competition. Best check to avoid these times. Otherwise not bad for £14.
Lovely Course
Great little course and speed of play is always good. Greens need a bit of work but course is in great condition on the fairways and tee boxes. Doing some building work at the moment so club house area was in a bit of a state.
Nearly all holes look the same
This was the first time I've played this course and as I live quite locally I was looking forward to it. The course is very flat and nearly all the holes are straight and look the same. There are some long walks between the holes and others are not sign posted very well which was quite confusing. It is not a course I will be returning to in the near future.
