Nice course with heathland style
First time playing here and really enjoyed it, even if I was struggling with a bit of a bad back! Not a long course and you don't need driver really (other than for a couple of longer par 4s or if you want to go for the green on some) but certainly you need to put the ball in the right spot off the tee to make the second shot a bit easier.
Given the time of year, the course was in pretty good condition - using normal tees and on normal greens (apart from one on the 2nd that was a poor temp) which were okay if a little bumpy and had some tyre marks on.
One hole was closed for drainage work but we played a couple of holes twice to make up for it.
Favourite hole was the par 4 5th and the par 3s are nice, if not long. I like the heathland feel of the course.
Pro in the shop was friendly and helpful and the clubhouse / bar was modern and good selection for a drink afterwards.
Would definitely go back there at a different time of year when course is at its absolute best and the greens are running nice.
Very good course
Was a very good round.
Course was in very good condition.
Was stuck behind a society who was just completely slowing up the course. Took about 3 and half hours. Should of took 2 and half with it been so short.
A little gem of a course
Excellent course, greens were true and immaculate, would highly recommend this course for any type of golfer

Even though its not the longest course turned out to be a little gem,well maintained fairways and greens with plenty of good detail.
Wirral Golf Club 11/6/21
This course is literally 5 minutes drive for me, but have never played it. Got the opportunity due to a good deal from Golf Now and wasn’t disappointed. The course isn’t the longest but makes up for it by being tight and with smallish greens.
At £25 felt it was good value, wouldn’t want to pay anymore than that though.
Off course, very good clubhouse with a fine pint of trappers.
Cracking small course
Greens were impeccable, only a small course but really enjoyed it. Challenging narrow par 4s with short par 4s make club selection extremely important. Will definitely be returning!

The course is in brilliant condition and although it’s not the longest it is still a challenge.
A brilliant and well designed course
My friend & I played here for the first time today and were a little worried that due to the rain being heavy during the week and a little into the weekend that it may be too wet. However on arrival those fears were put to rest as we saw the course was immaculate.
The course is narrow and compact and requires strategic thinking. My friend & I used a 4-5 iron off the tee, as accuracy is paramount.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in top shape and the greens played true.
The pace of play was disappointing as we got stuck behind a four ball of seniors who were going along at a snails pace.
Overall though that was not enough to blemish the day and the value for money is incredible!
This is the best course I have played in years, the whole layout of the course and the greens was amazing. The staff and pro where really helpful and friendly. I will definitely go back and play the course again.
