Lovely Course & Friendly Staff
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Lovely round
Great course with a very good layout, selection of challenging holes. Greens are very hard but not the worst around this area. A chipping area and a putting area put the front would be a very good addition.
Interesting Course with very welcoming staff
Interesting course to play, some long Par 4's and 5's with some challenging steep inclines. Par 3's were great, loads of obstacles making them pretty tricky. Course in good condition, greens need a little attention but overall not bad condition at all. Clubhouse and staff very cosy and friendly, almost like being in someones living room! Really warm welcome and would definitely play again.
For the time of year the course was reasonable. I think the course suffers from drainage problems or heavy rain in place's which, may account for longer grass on some fairways. The greens are not the worst
Great Value
A good course with massive improvements made over the past couple of years.
Value for money for a beginner
Only just started playing 18 holes, so felt a good course to learn on as not a busy course and value for money compared to a couple of local 9 hole courses. Some challenging holes which added to the experience. Fairway grass was long in places and the greens were very uneven and appeared not to have been watered so some were burnt. Would revisit with the aim to improve my game.
Good course for everyone
Really nice course. I was very fortunate with the weather conditions. As a beginner it was really forgiving.
My only criticism was the greens were quite slow.
Other than that lovely course
Grass Needs Cutting
Having found a new course in a convenient position for the 3 golfers playing, I am always keen to find a "gem", unfortunately as much as the course could have been excellent value it was let down by a few "routine" golf course maintenance requirements.
1 - The 1st cut off the fairway was more like the "4th" cut, your ball would sink deep into the grass, ending up taking much longer to find your ball than it should, if you could find it at all.
2 - the greens needed rolling and cutting
3 - greens were a little "rough" in places and a few times had to take relief on the green !.
Overall I wouldnt rush back, as there are better courses, better kept in the area.
Ok course
Nice course layout, fairways needed a cut couldn’t tell where the rough started. A few bunkers about but are awful and unplayable, become expensive for what it is. £15 tops
Brinkworth golf cpurse
The course itself is OK. A couple of really poorly maintained bunkers and the fairways were cut really long with no natural run.
Greens were OK, but £25 for a round this money needs to be used on investment on the course.
