Torrance Park Golf Course

Hard course to play for us average golfer’s but kept in good nick and really enjoyed it and will be back.

Having been a member a few years ago before there was a clubhouse, we were very pleasantly surprised about the facilities and how well the course looked and played...will definitely be back and would recommend to all that haven't played here to give it a go...would also like to say, the staff were excellent

Course was ok greens good but overall condition not great even after long dry spell

The front 9 of This course is testing! Par 4’s that will be a good test of distance management and superbly guarded greens that always seem to be in the right position. Back 9 quality layout! Some fantastic par 3’s and short par 4’s that you have to think about. The over all condition was fantastic for the time of year, fairways need a little drying out but getting there. Greens some of the best I’ve ever played on, the speed and accuracy is a major challenge and I would defy any course in Scotland to have better greens than this course! Wind was very much in play today but still very enjoyable and made a lot of good shots today. In fact so impressed with this course I’m ready to hand in my membership application on Monday.

First time back at Torrance park in 5 years. Massive improvements on and off the course.

Really enjoyed the round. Not the toughest of courses but well layed out and some really nicely framed holes. Fairways were still a bit soft but only to be expected with the recent weather.

Course was in really good condition for this time of the year. Will be back again.

Course was muddy with a lot of water lying on the surface in most holes.

Good course but charging £25 when the greens are spiked is poor. Looks like the winter greens will be used soon so will be interesting what the charge will be for that. Again lack of a decent clubhouse let’s it down. Doesn’t serve food, just drinks.

Good course and good layout. Lack of a proper clubhouse would prevent me becoming a member though. Places closes at 6pm every night.

Not played here in a few years but the course is much improved as it appears a lot of drainage work has been carried out on the fairways. Tees a bit bare but greens and fairways in very good condition. Excellent layout and very enjoyable round.

Great course condition, with a month of sunshine course was well watered and not too dried out, loads of challenging bunker positions, greens running beautifully. Playing alongside some pylons for a few of the holes around the turn but all round a cracking course to play.

First time playing here. Fairways and greens superb considering the amount of rain we have had. Some great holes. Tees where very disappointing but didn’t deter from a good day out. Front nine is long..in fact none of my party could pick up the course on our sat nav watches so it was back to old school club choice..nice clubhouse also.

Great weather for our days golf ,friendly staff and course very enjoyable.

Course was in great condition, particularly the greens. Got caught in a torrential downpour and for the most part the course held up to it.
